For a while I have been contemplating what exactly was the point of the video since it was the most unconvincing shit I've ever seen, because I believe there was more to it then just simply trying to cause more pain for the parents.

I believe that Ralph has cut Faith off from the internet around the time she came back from the hospital as Mr&Mrs Vickers have her phone and her laptop the only computers she could have is through Ralph.
Ralph decides all that Faith could know about what's happening online and what her parents have been saying.

I don't think the video's creation was for anyone other than Faith herself, I think that what she repeated into the Mircrophone is largely the story that Ralph has been feeding her this entire time.
Ralph is currently and has been from the very beginning turning Faith against her parents it's the only possible explanition that makes complete sense to me.
