Who even thinks depression means listening to sad music and sketching? I never heard that stereotype before. It's not a bad way to deal with it though. Doing creative things is good for your mental health. Certainly better than what she did. Maybe she just wants the Zombieland Saga look but isn't committed enough to be thin, cute and talented.

It's very much what the Tumblr-ites think depression is. They all talk about how they are so smol and cute and delicate and sad, sketching themselves as tiny, fragile waifs wearing giant sweaters and drinking tea, all the while still going out, socializing and living a normal life. Apparently an evening sitting at home with a cup of tea and some sad music = severe depression. They completely romanticize mental illness. I dont think they would know what hit them if they became for real depressed, with the not caring for themselves, isolation etc that comes with it. And yeah, i know high-functioning depression exists, but the way they talk about their "depression" is a dead giveaway that they've never experienced more than the occasional "blue day" in their lives.

This is Andie Proskus from Beaverton, USA. I found her on Tiktok where she has a humble one million followers on her account @andiesjourney. She's been noticed by some of the biggest stars on the app (including Charlie D'Amelio) and makes content where she sings, dances and talks about what appears to be her terminal disability, some sort of muscular degeneration. She gives gift boxes full of socks to young people in hospital and seems to be living her best life despite her limitations: or is she?
This is what Andie said about her disabilities in 2011:
Something of note here is that she mentions how she has had many hate comments and hate pages online from people who specifically thought she was faking her disability. Interesting - I wonder why?
Something felt odd about her from the get go, so I turned to my trusty friend google and got searching. Within a few clicks I found an old facebook post from 2013 where one of Andie's friends (her facebook account is now deleted) asks Ellen DeGeneres to notice Andie, a young woman with an eating disorder.
Okay, thats weird. Andie is either 28 or 29 this year, according to her own facebook posts, so back in 2013 according to her own timeline Andie was definitely suffering badly from her muscular issue by then. So why an ED? Why not mention her muscular issues?
I then came across this long dead blog, https://prayersforandie.wordpress.com/, which has posts from 2010. It says Andie is 17 years old and 'fighting for her life' with leukemia and a brain tumour.
The blog only has two posts and the second one states that Andie is in a 'medically introduced coma' and the odds aren't the best, but hopefully she'll pull through and be strong enough for heart surgery soon.
Again, according to Andies own timeline, this doesn't add up. According to Andie, she was being bullied in high school and online at that point of her life for her muscular issues, not fighting leukemia.
When searching the terms 'Andie Proskus Leukemia' I came across an old facebook post by a cancer mommy blogger.
Here she is warning people that Andie and another girl in the community are scammers and interact. Based on her post and the comments she's pretty mad - apparently Andie had lots of support in the cancer community for her singing videos - just like adult Tiktok Andie.
Here's where I found another twist to the story: there's a comment on the mommy bloggers post saying that Andie was not faking leukemia and that someone had stolen her name and photos.
This faker is apparently named Anne Soisson.
However, when searching for information online about Anne and Andie, all I could find were these two lists of race results that list them both as having completed certain charity runs. Andie seems to like doing charity runs in her wheelchair, and if you google her name that is the majority of the results and images you get.
This is where the Anne Soisson lead died for me, as I couldn't connect the two women any other way, but I'll definitely keep searching.

Here, the author speaks of meeting Andie in 7th grade and how Andie loved to sing. She then copies and pastes the prayersforandie blog text and asks her followers to pray for Andie. So I guess she had a bit of a reputation among cancer groups of the early 2010's.
Like all good chronically ill people, Andie seems to be quite the grifter, with multiple fundraisers past and present including an active gofundme for her happy boxes.
Another common result when you google her name is that she posts massive walls of text with all the details of her back surgeris, abscesses and brushes with death to the facebook pages of local news websites - she wants to be featured badly.
I'm going to work on a timeline of when she states that she had certain work done/precisely what disability she claims and I'll upload it here when I'm finished. I've archived all the relevant webpages in case she does a dirty delete!

Recent Paige updates, somehow she’s got her mum to speak to her again.
I checked out her TikTok and you can tell in her “my hair fell out in clumps, please praise me” videos that she still has normal growth in her “bald” spots, she just buzzed it to look like shit on purpose. How anyone falls for these shenanigans is beyond me.

Does New Zeland allow for hospice patients to receive treatment like ,surgery antibiotics etc? She states she was coded several times but in the US hospice patients are DNR and can't even gi to hospital.

NO healthcare professional, or amateur, has ever said this chick is "on the cutting edge of medicine". Being obese due to steroid abuse due to being a munchie is not rare. Perhaps she was actually being evaluated for factitious disorder? Another of our "maladaptive externalization of psychological distress" cases. Girl, nobody thinks your shit is neat or cute. Or rare. This doctor was humoring her. Its a trick they use to make sure they don't have to agree with you, but not seem like they are disagreeing to your face. They say something like, "I haven't heard anything like this in the literature, it certainly is an interesting set of symptoms. I'm going to look into this more", so they don't have to say, "You are full of shit". Its called being professional. It isn't very therapeutic to tell one's patients they are full of shit.
We all know how it is SOOPER RARE to... get an electricwheelchair scooter because you are too fat to function. And all the heavy infusions. Right. The infusions are the problem. Not the chins. Or the lack of ability to physically move the gargantuan carcass you have made for yourself. The body in this pic is from two years ago, btw. Now the *heavy* infusions have landed her in a chair. Not a manual, though. Far too much exercise. That hurts too much. Better just eat, instead.
And whine about missing the "service animal" that had to be farmed out to a trainer because she never takes him anywhere to train him, so he is a scaredy dog who can't handle being in public. And she is fully intending to go out in public. With the Service Dog, and The Scooter. For... reasons? Better just stay inside and eat. And post on the gram to make sure everyone knows how much she fought against that electric chair.

I have one that I've been following for a long while and has been tripping my bullshit meter. Unfortunately by the time I'd realized she'd scrubbed her insta. But maybe you all can help me find more stuff?
Fashionabilityrose on ig. When I first started following her she was normal and just posted Lolita stuff and random cute outfits. Then all of a sudden she had a big burn on her leg and needed a wheelchair. And then suddenly she's in the hospital and paralyzed and tagging conversion disorder. But she came home and all that was deleted from her account. She dicked around in a wheelchair and pushed herself and showed videos of herself running over her brother for fun. But then suddenly? She started acting like she had mental retardation? And then needed a power chair and started holding her hand weird. AND tagging that she had an undiagnosed progressive neuro disorder. She used to tag Functional neurological disorder (which is conversion disorder) and that's all scrubbed now too. I found her tiktok and this girl is cringe.
Then in July? She shaves her head and starts wearing scarves and wigs left and right. She'll post videos of herself acting fine and then delete them an hour later. She hasn't deleted all her stories where you can see her hand movements and such fine.
She's scrubbed all her old photos though so now her earliest are her in a wheelchair and she deleted photos of her doing archery and all kinds of stuff. I dunno. This one is weird.
And here's the random hair cut
Maybe I'm off but she's been pinging me for a long while because as I said I followed her before all this and I saw the conversion disorder tags and all the tags and shit she's deleted. I think she's faking it. 100%
