It's not the plot of the movie people are outraged over you dumbass.I watched the movie, because everyone was freaking out over it. Honestly, it’s fine. It’s the downward spiral of a young girl trying to feel like she belongs, which leads to her falling into a group of other girls desperately trying to gain popularity and acceptance.
I mean, if people keep this up, it would be incredibly easy to spin it on its head with, "So, that means left-wing thought fully supports pedophilia?" or "So, only right-wingers abhor pedophilia?", assuming that hasn't happened already.I don't know what I'm more angry at, the people who made this shit or the people trying to politicize it. This is one of those things where two people who'd never agree on anything politically would look at this, stop what they're doing, and ask each other "Are you seeing this fucking shit?" This has nothing to do with left or right wing politics. If these people are desperate to save this movie's reputation by saying "You're a right winger if you don't like it," they shouldn't be surprised when they wake up tomorrow and find people across the political spectrum lining up to tell them to go fuck themselves with a pine cone.
>Man shotgunning his face of in a real live stream, absolutely fineIt's not the plot of the movie people are outraged over you dumbass.
I've watched some of the clips and if they don't make you deeply uncomfortable, then there's something wrong with you.
Both should likely cause you to be uncomfortable.>Man shotgunning his face of in a real live stream, absolutely fine
>Film of 11 year old girls twerking and crotch shots, have to skip them because they are very uncomfortable to watch.
There is something wrong with this film where I can watch a man kill himself in a bloody way and not react, but this...this piece of fiction requires me to skip ahead because I don't want to watch them.
Totally Spies and all those French cartoons that feature nude girls or have model sheets of their characters nude stashed in the back room have the decency that they are just drawn women so no one was physically hurt. Totally Spies can stick its teenaged leads in whatever fetish situation the writers can come up with and the animators at Ankama can draw whatever smut they want of a 13 year old brown-plant girl for all I care because they aren't real people. Whats disturbing is that a major streaming service in the US is promoting Cuties and critics are falling all over themselves to praise it as some sort of high art. The film features actual children stripping down to their underwear, flashing their breasts, and posting photos of their crotches on the Internet in such an exploitative way that it makes you want to vomit.Very exceptional that the same country that made Totally Spies and has it's age of consent at 15 made this film
Point taken, shit's still IslamicTotally Spies and all those French cartoons that feature nude girls or have model sheets of their characters nude stashed in the back room have the decency that they are just drawn women so no one was physically hurt. That's just cringey, not pedobait. On the bright side, the Trumptards should enjoy it.
Own the child abusers by becoming the child abusers, what a beautiful message.Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought this was made by an immigrant woman who thinks the sexualization of children in the west is gross and intentionally shot this as provocatively as possible to upset people? My sister grew up with these influences and did this kind of stuff and you can see it anywhere if you go on tiktok or instagram so I'm not exactly sure why the outrage is happening now when someone blatantly points it out when it's been going on for a while.
That looks like cringe a boomer would make, not pedo-garbageOn the bright side, the Trumptards should enjoy it.
So... I watched Cuties.
Anyone who tries to use the argument that this movie's message is that sexualizing children is wrong; respectfully, that's bullshit. This movie is steeped in the sexualization of young girls. It is glorified and celebrated.
There are constant closeup shots of the bodies of tween girls in skimpy outfits. Tween girls twerking; grinding on each other; humping each other; slapping each other's asses; miming fellatio. Tween girls lying about their ages to flirt with boys or talk dirty with boys on Omegle, and both times freaking out on the girl who exposes their true ages.
This movie has a scene where a tween girl gets caught using a phone she stole from her uncle, and begins to undress to seduce him into letting her keep it.
A scene where a tween girl posts a picture of her vagina on Instagram.
A scene where a girl blows up a used condom as you would a balloon, then sticks it in her shirt to pretend she has a huge rack.
A scene where a girl's leggings get pulled down during a fight, revealing her panties.
At one point, the main character gets called up to the front of the class to solve an equation on the board, and a boy slaps her ass, then says it's her fault for posting nudes online.
There is an entire music video featuring closeup shots of girls' boobs, butts and crotches while they twerk.
There's probably even more that I've left out because my brain is trying to block it out.
Aside from the constant barrage of child sexuality, this movie is also steeped in toxic femininity. Girls constantly bully each other and get into fist fights. We're meant to sympathize with these characters and want the protagonist to befriend them, but they're just so trashy and scummy.
From a technical standpoint, this movie was poorly edited. Scenes abruptly end and often don't flow into each other. The Cuties go from bullying the main character to being besties with her pretty much randomly because the editing is so choppy. There's no real ending. Poor sound mixing.
I feel like CAP Alert clutching my pearls over here, but this movie was seriously gross and I feel like I should be on a registry for watching this. If the true message really is supposed to be the dangers of sexualizing young girls, it's very muddled due to the pervy camera angles and shots of tween girls humping each other. This movie was made to titillate pedophiles and normalize children dressing/acting like whores, plain and simple.
Clearly the Mountain Dew Chicken isn't killing him fast enough. Can someone just cancel this jaundiced fatass already?
Did they even touch on subjects like, say, who is behind this shit? I mean, I don't imagine these girls are arranging these baby burlesque shows on their own, but you make it seem like the movie is almost exclusively about watching underage girls twerk and tease, while bullying and being absolute cunts to each other. Did the movie truly not even attempt to make some sort of exploration of who is behind shit like this and just resulted in disgusting softcore porn for pedophiles?So... I watched Cuties.
