According to Joe Biden, Trump deserves no credit for re-negotiating NAFTA because that was all Nancy Pelosi's doing. When Tapper flatly states that, "Trump re-negotiated NAFTA, and you didn't" Biden just whines about how there was a Republican Congress so it's not his fault. I'll gloss over the fact that for the first two years of Obama's Presidency, he and Biden had a supermajority in both the Senate and the Congress, because Tapper's prolonged, exasperated stare at the end of the video made me laugh hard enough to give that a free pass.

Hmmm? Something in that really caught my eye. They had an Ambulance openly in the Motorcade. That’s kinda new! I worked a number of a Campaign rallies and Presidential speeches over the years as an EMS command officer. Granted it was mostly in the bad old days. I did Reagan twice while he was President. Bush I twice as Veep, once as President. Jessie Jackson, Walter Mondale. Michael Dukakis. Bill Clinton when he was running in ‘92. Coordinated with Secret Service for all of them. We were never part of the motorcade. We were always kept out of sight. We didn’t move with the President or a Candidate. Why would we? Local emergency services were on Alert and had a response crew dedicated when the sitting President or sitting Veep were moving through our district. But you weren’t moving with them. And nobody gave a shit about candidates or past presidents.
Is this a new common thing on the campaign trail and I just never noticed it? Or is this new for Biden? Because I don’t remember ever seeing an Ambulance, all lit up, following Obama around. And Hillary rather obviously used an unmarked van.

I wonder what all of that coughing was about. Half of those didn't even sound real, also good job coughing into your hand during this super-serious pandemic that you're trying to keep everyone in a panic over. I wonder if this is them trying to set up a narrative ahead of time that Joe can't make it to the debates because he's got the Kung Flu, because I'm genuinely not convinced that half of those were even real.
Maybe I'm just overthinking it, but I guess we'll see what happens when it's time for Joe to go up on stage. Every single person in this country who isn't rabidly Vote Blue doesn't think that Biden could handle the debate stage, so I can't imagine that his actual campaign staff are thrilled at the prospect of him having to go through with it. If they don't try and find a way to weasel out of it I'll be genuinely surprised.

Nobody likes Biden, everyone on that side of the aisle just hates Donald Trump. I'm trying to think of another election where the primary motivator for voting for the candidate was a seething and all-consuming hatred of his opposition that's completely devoid of any legitimate support for the candidate instead of just the party, but I'm kind of coming up empty-handed. I'm not sure if this has ever happened before, and certainly not to this extent.

Plus FDR actually promised something important that people wanted, to fix the economy which showed no signs of improving under Hoover. He talked about a New Deal, which was presented as a vague plan at the time, but then executed his first 100 days which turned out to be one of the most active administration in history. By closing the banks for the first few days and opening them back up, he started the battle to start pulling Americans out of the Great Depression.
Before LBJ, he was the guns and butter president. Butter for fixing the economy and guns for leading the nation in World War II.
