I live in a one bedroom apartment, hardwood floors throughout (that I could never change unless the property does it themselves) and if you want to go ahead and google the address and see pictures to confirm since you believe the internet so much. What, I just gave him my bedroom to take over? I kicked my boyfriend out to let him stay there? You claim to be such good detectives, obviously not. Dude, I just check in on this thread when it updates, I'm not playing internet detective to check if his Instagram stories match yours because I am not that invested. Other people in the thread are, and I am here to to help out and help verify information when I can, but otherwise I'm just here to watch and comment. I watch and comment on a lot of threads, not just Dahvie's. I don't usually go out of my way to check people's social media unless it's directly posted in a thread. I'm pretty hands-off.

If this is, in fact, all a big misunderstanding as you claim, it would behoove you to be a little less hostile to the person you're trying to get something from. I can understand your frustration if a dude did come up to your house looking for Dahvie, but I don't know who that dude is, we highly discourage people doing that sort of thing. sorry for archeology, but I call bs on this particular story. if you've ever been on a tour bus or seen one up close, you'd know you can't just walk inside. there's a keypad, you're not getting in if you don't know the code, and no one would ever leave the door open if the bus is parked in the area the fans can access. now I could speculate that Dahvie was dumb enough to actually do that, despite it being dangerous, but the assault itself doesn't match his MO at all. there's enough real evidence and real victims, no need to make shit up, it can only hurt the case.

He’s rebranded once again, at least musically. His new music Instagram is called @Vividnightmaresofficial, I’m assuming he’s named it after the feeling every woman got after meeting him. It’s been up for around a week and he’s got less than 300 followers, a true celebrity.

My main question is how this guy gets his money. As far as I understand, they were never particularly popular, and occupied the bottom-tier of the Warped Tour lineup (which could have had 50+ bands any given year). This is an industry where if you're not at the top, you're probably poor (and we've never heard of him having any other job). Yet we hear about him living like a rockstar in the interviews-constantly taking groups out to eat and paying for everyone, partying, road trips, plane tickets, and so on.

Thank God Warped Tour isn't a thing anymore. The music fest where shitty bands with pedo singers can pick any old emo preteen girl/boy in rainbow converse out of the crowd to fuck backstage.

I'm not surprised that some people found it an easy demographic to exploit, but what really strikes me looking back on those years is how wholesome and clean that scene was. The songs, while often cringeworthy, were more romantic than muh dick, especially compared to what is popular now. There was no hostile SJW takeovers, no bitter strong wahmen (scene girls were very approachable and friendly), no OnlyFans/prostitution (MySpace models seem quaint in comparison), no selfie ass shots. A disporportionate number of bands seemed to be straight edge or explicitly Christian. It was a social scene where people actually showed up to enjoy the music and each other. I really think the DIY attitude shielded that culture from corporate takeover for a while, and was a bottom-up subculture. It seemed to die with the popularity of smartphones, around 2012.

He doesn’t; at least not for I’d say a good few years now. As of now he’s got a clothing line that can’t in any way generate enough income for him to live. He only advertises on his Instagram where he’s got less than 0,5% engagement. His music has been taken off of Spotify when the rape allegations against him became mainstream knowledge. This man is almost 40 years old and as far as I know his last known place of living was his moms basement.

Before that he was a leech, scammer and withheld income from his former bandmate. He has a history of not sending out merch people purchased from him, didn’t pay his staff and lived off of other people.
