Goonclown Steven Bonnell II / Destiny / Destiny.gg - Emotionally Unstable Manchild, Creeps on Teenagers, Incest Supporter, Degenerate Foot Sniffer, Cum Felcher, Gooner

ATTENTION
Special rules for the Destiny thread.
  • Don't engage footsoldiers. Whiteknights do not need 100 responses to every bait post; exercise restraint. Do not give attention to people who join and bomb the thread with negative reactions.
  • Practice harm reduction. Read our prudent poster's guide.
  • Don't write open letters to Destiny. It is very annoying attention seeking behavior. Just write normal posts.
Doesn't Destiny already have his own platform? Destiny.gg? I'd imagine a pretty sizeable portion of his income comes from donations on that site too.

It seems Destiny has not made a statement yet. It will be interesting to hear him elaborate on this situation.

He has had https://www.destiny.gg/ set up for years and has been encouraging viewers to subscribe, donate, and chat there, not on Twitch. Up until recently, the only chat on VoDs was the DGG chat. DGGers, Destiny’s community, would call the Twitch chat ‘the bitch chat’.

He will be fine without Twitch monetisation. He has had enough foresight to ensure that. Destiny also makes decent money off YouTube, since he uploads so frequently. He also sells merch and gets sponsorships.

If he gets banned on Twitch, he can switch to YouTube. It is a decent streaming alternative, as demonstrated by Vaush. There are a few downsides, like the lack of community options or any community itself.

The biggest issue would be that Twitch prohibits other streamers from having banned users on. This is why Destiny would turn off sound when speaking to Vaush: he could not platform him. If he gets banned, he will not be able to network with other streamers as effectively, such as by going on podcasts and panels.

I do not think this will impact his views on de-platforming and bans in any way. I think he will maintain that Twitch can do what it likes with his channel since it is a private company; he will only argue about its actions being unreasonable. I can already hear his voice going on about ‘the dipshit larpy tankies talking about killing cops all day’.

Here's my take:

As much as I usually sympathize with most any content creator who gets deplatformed for petty shit, I can never sympathize with far-left creators who get banned or demonetized. Simply put, when others get banned/demonetized, it's always the leftists who are so smug and vocally arrogant about their loss, who then turn to Twitter to post cancerous garbage like ironic use of "learn to code!", "hey bro, that's the free market!", "welcome to capitalism!" or the inevitable "just start your own platform!" . They're never sympathetic, and they never help out with getting their channels back. All they do is shrug and and rub salt in their wounds while they can get away with murder as long as Susan is on their side.

See, people like Leafy or Mumkey had their hits or misses in terms of their original content, but regardless if you loved or hated either of those two dudes, I was absolutely appalled at their bans, simply because I felt they were unjust...not to mention the fact that prior to their bans, they didn't usually rub it in other peoples' faces when they'd get demonetized. Leafy and Mumkey were fairly apolitical as far as I know, and they would never tweet in glee of someone else's channel getting shut down. Hell, even the gnome Keemstar actually goes out of his way to help out channels who get strikes or bans when there's enough attention drummed up. But as for leftists on social media: they're ALWAYS THE MOST vocal about insulting people who get banned...ALL OF THEM! Fagtano, Ethan Klein, Vaush, Shoe, Carlos Maza, Quinton, and yes, Destiny. So when they lose their platform? HA-FUCKING-HA.

You get what you deserve.

Seems its finally happening. Apparently he's getting departnered from Twitch, meaning he won't be able to monetize (or probably will not be able to monetize as much) his streams. What a shitty way to go. Better luck on YouTube, you know what side of the political spectrum you have to thank for this.

Edit: a more complete screenshot from Overustle logs.
Huh. I thought it was the Destiny Games that would be losing their partnership.

Here are the screenshots that confirm that Destiny is getting his Twitch and Discord partnerships revoked all because he got eaten by his own.

They'll excuse the use of any weapon used against their enemies without realising how easily it could be turned against themselves. Not only is it a grossly unethical and childish position, but an extremely short sighted one as well. You're right, they get what they deserve.

Just to clarify, I see in the Overustle logs that he lost his Partnership. But according to the Affiliate vs Partner chart, it says he can still monetize (aside from ads) as an Affiliate. And then I see another chat log that says he’s lost 150k-250k a yr of salary.

Does this mean that he lost affiliate status as well? Because if so, then big oof.
Most likely yes, he'll lose the affiliate as well. The other big streamer who had his partnership rewoked (Mitch Jones, for accidentally showing a dm on stream where he typed the dreaded "n-word") was no longer able to get subs. Sure, Destiny got a back up plan, but either way, it means he'll lose a lot of his income
Eh, I personally find Hasan to be way more insufferable and he tends to lie alot more. It would be funnier if it happened to him but I guess s Steven did deserve it as well.
Destiny: it's time to tackle the riots, violently if needs be
Twitch staff: BAN!
Hasan:
"Kill them [property owners], kill those motherfuckers (in a video game).[...] Let the streets soak in their fucking red blood"
Cheering on a cop being beaten by a mob
Twitch staff: Nothing to see here

I may sound completely unhinged saying this (and I probably am)

But I hope it gets worse, I hope all these parasites eventually get deplatformed, regardless of political stance or lack thereof, I hope the very own fanbases they have fostered turn on them and eat them alive, leaving nothing but miserable walmart clerks reminiscing about how they "once kinda made it big".

Please help me, silicon valley capitalists!! My youtube isn't earning money anymore and I'm only earning 50k/month from twitch subs :cryblood:
Hasan mentioned that YouTube made no money for him whatsoever back in 2019. This was during his editor drama. Source:
It might not make much money still.

Is that the voice of Dan the Landlord? Spicy.
For Twitch to react, there have to be reports. If somebody is interested in seeing Hasan de-platformed, they should report him. No reports — nobody cares — Twitch does not care.

It's gonna take a long while, Destiny got banned for a "right wing" opinion which is pretty normal.
