I looked up the name of the ale and it sells for about 15 bucks wherever it's in stock . It's a Coffee Stout laden with sugar (of course). Buying some hi-priced, artsy fartsy booze while e-begging for your daughter's medicine is like loading up on food at the local church food shelf then going to Red Lobster for dinner. As far as dick moves go, it's not the worst, but it does make you look like a pillock.

People, including the two actresses, complained about the conditions from working on the set but no one paid too much attention until the #metoo bullshit started to gain ground. I'm looking for it, and I know I've seen it, there were some tweets or posts from Bob where he kinda halfheartedly appologized for defending the film when someone pressed him on all the gross stuff surrounding the movie. I can't find them right now but if I do I'll edit them in.

Blue is the Warmest Color reminds me of a movie called Bolero, a Bo Derek cheesefest from the 1980's that was supposed to be an arthouse film combined with an adult film. It was roundly hated by the 50 year old, trenchcoat wearing men who went to see it, because the ratio of porn to "cheesy overbloated period drama" was way too low for their liking. It seems the makers of BitWC wanted to avoid this and put in as much porn as they could to keep men like Bob interested in the movie. When the film first came out, there were movie screenings where entire audiences would stand and cheer at the marathon-long sex scenes, and if it wasn't for reports by the actresses of being made uncomfortable during the filming of those scenes, no one would be criticizing this film. Except for the author of the graphic novel who is probably butthurt that no one really cared as much for the long, talky coming of age drama as they cared for the hot dangerhair scissor-fucking.

Anyway, MovieBob strikes me as the kind of guy who would show up to a lesbian arthouse film wearing a trenchcoat, if you catch my drift. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I'll believe Bob deeply supports the struggle of lesbians to find representation in media the day I see him watch and gush over a movie where the lesbians aren't conventionally attractive.
