The Jedi are famous for sparing people who surrender. I mean, even their Sith enemies see it as a sign of weakness:
"The Jedi are fools. They do not believe in executing prisoners." -Darth Malak, KOTOR, answering the amnesiac Revan as to why the Jedi simply didn't kill him.
When even the Jedi Order's enemies laugh at the Jedi for sparing people, that's because the Jedi really do spare their captives and would probably allow them to explain their deeds in a court of law. Yes, at the time, the Republic was corrupt, but I highly doubt the corrupt power-brokers like the politicians or corporations like the Trade Federation would care about protecting some dipshit governor or some Death Watch terrorists, so I can't see why the True Mandalorians can't get a fair trial from the courts.
Here's another shocker: Jango was killing people for the governor of Galidraan, DESPITE KNOWING THAT THE MAN WAS SUPPORTING THE DEATH WATCH!

So Jango was murdering political dissidents for some governor-whom he knew was a Death Watch pawn! Why didn't he just call the Jedi Council on the both of them? Why even kill people for the guy?
This part of the comic really does a bad job of trying to get you to sympathize with Jango Fett and why he hates the Jedi. I mean, why did Jango even bother taking up a job from a guy who he knows was was literally harboring criminals, a guy who wanted him to kill political dissidents? It's like he knew this was a setup, and went in to kill those people regardless. Aside from the fact that Jango started the fight with the Jedi, he shouldn't have been on Galidraan in the first place, unless he was there to arrest the governor for harboring criminals and trying to get mercenaries to kill political dissidents. At this point, he could have just called the Jedi and told them the truth, which he knew before attacking the dissidents in the governor's name. It could have saved his men and saved everyone but Death Watch.
