I mean if you want to talk basic quality metrics, you can start with the fact that while no-content posts are frowned upon both here and on SA, SA neither has the tools to properly get rid of them nor can be assed to do so. If you emptyquote or make one-word reaction posts or other shit here, your posts get deleted; goons who do that shit can only get banned for varying lengths of time which they usually take as grounds to raise a shitstorm in QCS. The fact that this site has (and uses) effective and non-disruptive tools that completely remove no-content posts is on its own enough to drastically improve average post quality on this site over SA; even if you hate the content of the posts here you can’t debate that they’re much less likely to be contentless white noise than anything on SA day to day. Then you have the fact that this site uses embedded attachments to posts instead of hotlinking from unreliable and capricious offsites, so KF threads that have media in them don't turn into graveyards of red X's over time.
There are fairly serious cultural differences, too, which generally lead to better post quality here. Goons are infamous for unquestioningly believing anything that was posted by another goon, to the point that a fuckton of goons still think Notch is a KKK member because someone once posted a screenshot of a tweet doctored to look like Notch was ranting about niggers -- just as one example. This site's primary purpose is to document the unbelievably terrible behavior of unbelievably terrible people: an endeavor that lends itself to healthy skepticism not only because the internet is full of fanficcing weirdos but because truthful information about people is always funnier than fiction. The more bizarre and hilarious something is, the more this site scrutinizes it to make sure someone isn't doing some kind of weird autistic ARG fantasy.
Also, no one on the Kiwi Farms ever got attacked for archiving and verifying something, whereas if goons don't like your post they'll attack you for not having sources unless you have sources, in which case they'll attack you for having them. The result is that on average, information on this site is far better sourced and far more likely to be properly verified than on Something Awful, and when something interesting gets posted it won't get buried under a mountain of goons screaming "omg take all my 5s." To name a few perks.
