Two Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department deputies were shot while in the city of Compton on Saturday night, according to the department's official Twitter account.
"One male deputy and one female deputy were ambushed as they sat in their patrol vehicle," the tweet read. "Both sustained multiple gunshot wounds and are in critical condition. They are both currently undergoing surgery. The suspect is still at large."

Sheriff Alex Villanueva and Capt. Kent Wegener said during a briefing that the incident took place at 7 p.m. local time (10 p.m. ET). Wegener said the suspect approached from behind the deputies' vehicle and walked along the passenger side of the car. He acted as if he was going to walk past the car, raised a pistol and shot multiple times hitting both deputies, Wegener said.

Video of the incident, tweeted by LASD, appears to show an individual in dark clothing walking up to the deputies' car, firing a gun into the car and running away.

The two officers -- a 31-year-old mother and 24-year-old -- were transported to a local hospital and are "both still fighting for their lives," LASD says. Both deputies had just been sworn in 14 months ago, Villanueva said.
"This is just a somber reminder that this is a dangerous job, and actions and words have consequences. Our job does not get any easier because people do not like law enforcement," Villanueva said. "It pisses me off, it dismays me at the same time. There's no pretty way to say it."
FBI Los Angeles has offered resources and "stands ready to assist" in response to the attack, the agency tweeted.
US Rep. Adam Schiff tweeted he was praying for the two deputies.

"Every day, law enforcement officers put themselves at risk to protect our community," his tweet read. "I hope the perpetrator of this cowardly attack can be quickly brought to justice."

Actions and words do have consequences, very dangerous ones. This ought to be the top issue in every campaign across the nation.

Got a source on that?

Was on mobile, but will crawl my ass out of bed to give what you need.

And from the article.

Videos posted on social media showed some protesters gathering outside St. Francis hospital.

In one clip, a man who identifies himself as Kevin Wharton Price of the Africa Town Coalition refers to the injured deputies as "two of America's most notorious gang members."

Other clips showed the group in a confrontation with officers outside the hospital.

In a tweet late on Saturday night, the sheriff's department said protesters were blocking the entrance and exit to the hospital the wounded deputies were at.

"To the protesters blocking the entrance & exit of the HOSPITAL EMERGENCY ROOM yelling "We hope they die" referring to 2 LA Sheriff's ambushed today in #Compton: DO NOT BLOCK EMERGENCY ENTRIES & EXITS TO THE HOSPITAL," the tweet said. "People's lives are at stake when ambulances can't get through."

As for the tweet the article mentions.

If they're blocking the ambulance bays and the emergency room entrance, that's no longer a peaceful protest and they should be removed using whatever force is necessary, from boots and nightsticks to firearms. Trying to appeal to their better nature by saying people will die is a waste of time. These people don't care and don't actually have a better nature to appeal to.

Didn't the Mexicans drive the blacks out of Compton by force in the 90s?
It's been an ongoing campaign. Compton is still 30% black, but that compared to 50+% in the 90s. A higher up in La Eme (Mexican Mafia) gave a greenlight to gangs to drive out black families with violence iirc. We aren't talking Africa levels of ethnic cleansing, but using violence to terrorize them into moving.

Here’s Wharton-Price’s video “announcement” on the shooting. Sorry I can’t archive right now if someone else could— thanks.

All cops deserve to die, no offense.

Ask yourself this: Have cops contributed to the good of society?
Have cops contributed back to the community somehow?
Have cops given any kind of good back to the world?

Of course not. You can't answer that because the only thing police exist to do is abuse people and shoot them. The only thing cops do is take, take and take and they will never stop until they've taken your life and your liberty fully away. All cops deserve to get shot, and quite honestly it's karma when they do so. I'd love to see the San Fran police station bombing repeated. Get some spergs to pull it off and America really will become the laughing stock of the world.

If you honestly believe that and aren't trolling hard as fuck, then you're an absolute idiot. Neck yourself.

If you defend cops you're an absolute moron. They literally abuse people on a daily basis, they will come and shoot your dog, shoot you, your kids, your wife, etc. the only thing cops ever contributed was the taking away and ruination of innocent lives. Call it karma when the fuckers get shot.
