dear Kayla: Get a nail brush. Those are easy to get even in small local pharmacies. Get a basin of hot water and put in a generous amount of laundry detergent.
Then get on your hands and knees and scrub the ground-in stains from your carpet. You may have do this more than once. Put kitchen paper over the marks to absorb as much of the left-behind moisture as possible. Vacuum inbetween scrubs too. It might take a couple of days.
