I think the riots we're seeing now aren't an isolated event in terms of human history, but the result of rejecting the Classical and Scholastic view of mankind and the (failed) project of rebuilding man into something he clearly isn't.

Some of the communists actually care a lot about their community, they're just misguided. A lot of the Portland rioters have been helping out people who were affected by the nearby fires.

Tractors, man. Tractors. Agriculture is fully mechanized today. It's all about operating and maintaining farm equipment. There is a manual labor component, sure. But it is nowhere near what, I dunno, someone roofing houses does.

yeah, but some of those tractors (combines) are 100s of thousands of dollars and are very technologically advanced pieces of equipment. Plus all the "little" things you have to carry and/or mend add up and the before crack-of-dawn hours. Not to mention nobody is gonna farm much of anything other than a veg garden, hobby field, or a couple chicken coups on 20 acres of land near a toxic mining operation.

Maybe, but education in virtue and technical thinking is an important part of caring for your community. If you want to do what's best for your community, you have to know what's best for it's thriving. You can't just spout random slogans you heard in your African female basket weaving course and think that's good enough. Also, you wouldn't ally yourself with the people that burnt it down in the first place (in fact, you would promptly punish them and/or exile them) and expect anyone but your people to help you.

The point is not to actually follow through yet. The aim is to be able to scream it and get away with it. Normalising threats of violence towards specific groups is what all fascist groups seek. Once you normalise the implication of violence to the point it is acceptable you are a step closer to making the actual violence itself acceptable. Once you have normalised threatening to kill/rape them and their families without condemnation then you are closer to being able to follow through on the threat.

After that you just add more groups to the undesirables since you have normalised violence against them and their families already.
