This is why you never ever join an online project if you don't have good opsec. For that matter don't even use discord if you can help it. IRC or bust. People who join these online projects for clout will turn on each other in a heartbeat and you will get fucked.

Damn. That’s a lot of shit revealed. Was Punzoo included in this? They got doxed after sperging in here. I can’t really remember their relation to the project. I think they exposed screenshots?

I think that even in the thousands of pages on the Alex thread, Alex is the only one doxed. And maybe Mulberry to a lighter extent.

Jesus christ, I've lurked this thread since I was informed of a good friend working on the project. Hell, I should probably reach out and tell them to jump ship after this document about Apeis, but I feel they're too far gone.

How would I even go about saying that? "Hey, I know you're investing an unhealthy amount of time and effort into an unpaid project that you know is run by a pedophile... but you should stop that."

Hell, they know. Everyone in the dev team knows. It's complacency or ignorance at this point. This person knows of the shitstorm surrounding the ENTIRE team. And yet they continue to dig themselves deeper. They deleted all their social media because of this thread, if I recall.

So I can't even blame it on not knowing, as much as I'd love to.

Sounds like you gotta get through to them. Make them realize this is never coming out and if it does, everyone's gonna hate them for working on a game with a pedophile.

I see it as 3 options at this point:
1) drop it, keep an eye on them, watch it burn
2) drop it and them, wipe your hands clean
3) keep casually asking "so how's the pedophile doing"? "Wow sure must be fun to work with people who have tried to sext 10 year olds" etc., being terribly passive aggressive so they either block you or the reality sinks in.

It's up to you on if this breaks your friendship as you know your friend and if they're just chasing clout or are hiding skeletons. Good luck, it's not an easy position to be in.
