Community Tard Baby General (includes brain dead kids) - Fundies and their genetic Fuckups; Parents of corpses in denial

Hey, it’s just a g-tube JUST until she can eat orally again thanks to the power of empathic nutrition.

This woman really thinks her magic food and crystals will heal Luna and make her a IG superstar and woo-guru on the most epic scale.
She can have a diet and crystal themed funeral and send woo-guru vibes to Luna in the afterlife. Or something. I'm more concerned about how she'll react if she manages to have a normal baby that screams, cries, and doesn't want a pickle shoved in her mouth.

Some perspective on how fucked up Luna's head is

If she means that Luna's head is so fucking huge that planets can practically orbit it, then she's not wrong.

That dumb-ass bow she always has on Luna's head just really pushes this whole macabre sideshow over the top. I feel nothing but pity for this poor creature. Just let her live and die with some measure of dignity, you fucking narc weirdo.

holy shit, that foot drop. it's atrophy of the tendons, when the foot and calf are never used. this is pretty extreme.

Has her head size been reduced at all since the surgery? Because she looks about the same to me. Wouldn't be surprised if her mom isn't following the proper aftercare instructions and whatnot.

I assume that Indian kid with the super giant head was just born to a poor family that didn't have much access to proper medical treatment. I bet they would've loved to have access to what Luna's mom chose to reject.

Yes the Indian kid was just from a poor family who had no medical options and was normal hydrocephalus.
Luna has a progressive cystic disorder causing hers, her head will continue to grow and the shunt can only do so much since the pressure isnt just the normal fluid. If you notice she is gaining a clover skull appearance that will only get worse.

Pickle time for Luna, mom is awkwardly poking her in the face with it while talking in that obnoxious baby voice. You know what's overwhelming? The fact that this kid would be normal if it weren't for that fucking tragic woo mess of a homebirth.

The most horrifying part is that Luna actually seems to react to the taste/feel of the pickle. Her breathing picks up, she tenses and cringes away, and she twists her mouth more closed than it was. I'm not sure if she could form a thought as coherent as "I don't like pickles", but the fact that she was able to react negatively to the physical sensation of it makes me think that she IS capable of feeling pain.

Hypnobirthing, and big sister Luna is helping. I'm sure she'll be a great labor coach.

Well at least this doesn’t rule out going to a hospital. Interesting to note this promises to decrease the length of labor/birth which was a major problem for Ms Empath last time, but a fatal problem for Luna.

Hypno birthing is just another spin on the breathing techniques Lamaz classes have taught for decades, just with more woo and essential oils, meditation and music.

Child birth is painful, this is not a modern phenomenon. It’s was a problem among the most au natural ancient humans. Ancient Greeks made amulets for women to wear during birth in hopes of lessening pain, the Bible states painful childbirth is the curse of Eve, native Americans revered women who did not cry out in pain during birth, etc.. Nothing will make childbirth painless except top tier drugs.

But I guess you aren’t going to sell hypno birthing classes without making lots of pie in the sky promises. I’m not sure why people can’t accept unavoidable pain is a part of life, it’s part of the deal. It has been a given for all of humanity,

I'm not sure why they don't just take the drugs/spinal. Why even go through it all if you don't have to? It's madness.

Luna can definitely feel pain, although is allegedly experiencing such miraculous healing that she no longer needs pain meds or seizure meds. View attachment 1594996
Luna gifted her last dose of WEENed meds to a rando nurse who works her ass off caring for a baby who would have been born normally. WHAT A HERO!!!

People like "Empathic" Nutritionist over here feel a sense of ennui because they're born and raised in a bubble where everything we could ever need - medication, food, water etc. - is readily available in a plastic container. And yet their lives are still boring and shitty, they just feel like they are missing out on something. So they go ahead and fill that void by shoving pretty colorful gemstones up their hoohaa... Excuse me, I meant to say YOMI, are deadly afraid of vaccines and chemicals, and spend a weekend blasting out of both ends after drinking water straight from a creek because it's natural and so much better than the bottled poison sane people are drinking. So of course she's not going to rely on modern medicine for childbirth. It's boring when both mother and child are almost guaranteed to survive. It's all about HER birth experience, who cares if the child ends up being severely disabled? Have you seen how many likes disabled kids get on Instagram?

In all seriousness though, I'm all for being a responsible consumer and eating organically whenever possible, but being that stupid/guillible AND into woowoo is a very dangerous combination. If you cut yourself with a kitchen knife and you choose to wrap the wound in sage leaves and put a quartz under your pillow instead of going to the ER, then that's cool. But when it comes to your children, maybe don't fuck up their lives just because you have a superiority complex.

Luna can definitely feel pain, although is allegedly experiencing such miraculous healing that she no longer needs pain meds or seizure meds.

Who needs modern medicine when you have organic locally farmed pickles harvested under the full moon?

And well past the middle of the last century, women were knocked out for birth. My grandmother had 4 children (oldest born in 1960) and was only conscious for the birth of the last one (in 1971).

Carrie Fisher had a joke in her "Wishful Drinking" set that she's always craved attention because the moment she entered the world, she was ignored. The nurses sedated her mother & they were like "Oh, look Debbie Reynolds, the beautiful movie star! She looks like a sleeping princess!" Eddie Fisher comes in, passes out, and everyone is like "Oh, look, Mildred! Eddie Fisher, the crooner! Passed out in the middle of the delivery room!"

And as you said, pain, whether it be physical or emotional, is apart of the human experience. By trying to prevent or avoid that pain, I feel like you lose a bit of the sweetness of the reward in the end, if that makes sense.

I'm running on 2 hours of sleep, so it may not.
