I don't know where I watched it or heard it, but didn't Chantal force Nat to sit in the doorway while she and her mom watched TV when they were younger? Even if that wasn't the case, I can fully believe that she treated Natalie like total shit and that Natalie received the brunt of the spergouts when Chantal wasn't getting her way.
