If the "justice system" gains some sense before he dies, maybe, but we have to consider that this is a guy who was charged for a hate crime because he happened to have some spicy memes on his phone. At the risk of sounding autistic, he can be pretty easily compared to being a political prisoner. Given how entrenched these bastards are in just about every institution, I'm doubtful he'll ever get out except in a body bag.

I think that's why Kaiser Kyle created such a firestorm among the general public. I've heard normies singing the praises of Rittenhouse. Maybe people want to ensure he doesn't get railroaded like Fields.

He was likely told they'd reduce charges if he just pled guilty. It's the most basic tactic and it works most of the time.

I'm of a mind that, aside from the chimpouts, the white champions of poc are organized by agitators. Lancaster being a prime example because it took awhile for the local wackos to roll up and start telling them what to do. They don't realize that they're just pawns, but anyone with a loud enough voice in front of a crowd can steer it pretty easily. Doesn't even take a good leader, just "Hey whoever is at lancaster, remember to tell them to block the roads and tell them how bad the police are. Try to get the crowd and the police tied up and be sure to record it."

edit: I don't have the clip on hand and I don't even remember where it was, I wanna say NYC, but there were a lot of black people recording calling out the agitators for making it wild enough to get the police to crack down.

Yeah it makes sense to keep him in jail. He WOULD be attacked with 100% certainty, and he's proven he's willing and capable to kill in self defence. Imagine the optics if he did it again on bail, justified or not..

Undoubtedly a lot is "monkey see, monkey do." They watch the clips from other riots, see what gets traction in the media, what looks "cool," and try it out themselves. But we have seen that "protest roles" illustration with the "light mages" and whatnot a dozen times now so we know that there are some kind of riot trainers out there teaching them how to do this. In Portland they openly have practices and warm up in the parks before their "direct actions," usually paired with shield making.
