I'm certain that Ty had never seen a lot of what's happened in this case, and will likely never see it again. He's used to business people doing business and preserving their interests, not whatever shitshow this is. Remember him telling the story of some opposing party who said he didn't say or do something, but B&H had a slideshow of the guy saying/doing the thing? And as the lawyer went from slide to slide, the guy got smaller and smaller until he couldn't take it anymore. Ty thought he would do the same to Ron in deposition, only to be met with "looks like it" and "no", and Ty was disarmed. That's because you can only embarrass someone who can experience shame. That shit doesn't work on Ron.
Same with ADD Chupp, Ty thought he could give him evidence and Chupp would read it, or make a legal argument and Chupp would hear it. That shit don't work on Chupp. Chupp only accepts the first binder he receives, why would he take Ty's? Because it's his job? He'd already applied for another job at that point.
As a spectator, I think it would be funny to have a filler arc about whatever BS happened in mediation but I don't know what Vic can gain from it.
