The Christians were their time's equivalent of the Marxists. They took over the Empire a couple centuries before the Western half fell. The alt-right in this scenario are the Hellenic Pagan holdouts, and they weren't the ones building the monasteries after shit hit the fan.

Wait, you think that's the right? The left controls the media, effectively the government, the deep state (unelected bureaucrats, for example the USPS union that is openly defying the Postmaster), the academia, the tech sector, and the culture at large.

Maybe "the culture at large" explains the rest. Everyone just acts that way because they think it's the right thing to do, to "stand up to bullies/Nazis" or whatever, no over-arching conspiracy required. Also edited for clarity, because not everyone is a Nietzsche sperg.

If people have been taking the thread's non-doomer advice from the start, then by now you know your neighbors, know who to trust, have supplies on hand, and are prepared to help out each other in a time of crisis.

Antifa propaganda isn't shit when you've got actual mutual aid happening around you.

(Also, Andy Ngo's being melodramatic. That isn't brainwashing, that's branding, and everyone from US soldiers to Hamas warlords regularly do it with aid. "Hearts and minds" is a meaningful tactic; it's just not useful in the ways governments need it to be.)

Unfortunately yes. All the necessary factors for the start of a civil war have reached alignment. We have two diametrically opposed political factions. Both those factions view the other as not just wrong, but evil and a threat to themselves. The political and economic elites have taken hard positions on either side of the fracture line. The split has even formed largely geographic continuity on the west coast and northeast.

We now see outright politic violence spilling out onto the streets with one side or the other justifying or lionizing it based on whatever side the violence is perceived as supporting. We are unfortunately 30 seconds to midnight and time is running out.

The decrease in police officer homicides from its high point in the about the late 1970s to the 1980s had a lot to do with the development of body armor, radio communications, changes in EMS response, trauma care, improved police tactics when engaging with the public, and a general decrease in crime in the United States.

All these tactics however may be severely compromised if officers do not have a firearm for self defense so they can stop the aggression. Such, suspects may continue to in their deadly aggression towards officers absent the presentation of deadly force. This could lead to an increase in police officer homicides to near 1970 or 1980 levels.

Many do. Northern Guard and Soldiers of Odin tried volunteering in soup kitchens and picking up used needles in parks. Antifa went full bore to get it shut down, going so far as to get all Dominos in Nova Scotia to ban any member of the group (by name) from shopping at Dominos (They gave out free Dominos to homeless)
.Atalante regularly givs out food to the homeless in Quebec City and Montreal, but only to Natives and Quebecois. Antifa is too scared (rightly) of Atalante to do anything about it. They sometimes cut Atalante's tires, key their cars,or burn their tattoo shop at night, but they get beaten to fuck (and sometimes stabbed right TF up) whenever they get brave enough to tangle.
