Nah, that's insulting to McClellan. McClellan was great at logistics and turned the Army of the Potomac from a disorganized group of volunteers into to a well-organized and trained army. His main problems was that he had an ego the size of the sun and was cautious to the point of stupidity. He likely could have captured Richmond if he had counter-attacked at the end of the 7 days battle, as Lee had utterly exhausted his army and had taken more casualties than he inflicted. This attitude crippled McClellan as well his insubordination and led to Lincoln saying " If General McClellan does not want to use the Army, I would like to borrow it for a time, provided I could see how it could be made to do something." He deserved to be sacked but he was at least useful early in the war.

Vindman has the ego of McClellan, but none of the talent or achievements to back it up. He deserves to be forgotten or to be remembered as a shitstain who refused to set his politics aside for his shot at fame and power.

I'd like to point out the swine flu so called epidemic that happened...what in 2008? There was the whole fiasco of tje media tell parents "You need to get your child vaccinated or their gonna die a horrible death!"

Needless to say my parents never took me to be vaccinated and i never caught the swine flu. Though I'd like to point out that swine flu existed before that whole epidemic and we were never told "Hey, wear a mask."

I don't want shit up this thread with COVID stuff much further, but suffice to say the Swine Flu and Corona are two very different things, biologically speaking. Ironically, the Swine Flu was a variant of the Spanish Flu, but since it wasn't new a lot of older people had antibodies for it and made it through just fine (if you remember, the panic was because the Swine Flu killed younger people more than older people).

Corona is giving us trouble because no one has immunity to it yet and apparently the immunity granted by recovering from it is short-lived (but let's not get into that) so everybody is going to catch it eventually, and even if most will be asymptomatic they're still able to spread it. That's why Corona has already bagged a higher kill count than the Swine Flu both here and worldwide, despite the quarantine provisions applied to it being far stricter than with the Swine Flu.

That all said, again, I agree with you that there's a lot of fearmongering going on, for the reasons I already stated. People suffering from TDS need to blow this completely out of proportion to maintain their worldview. Trump's response to Corona is fine. It's not the best in the world, but he's been playing very well with the shit hand he was dealt. But he still had to play that hand. Corona requires a response, the numbers we see here (from places that have no reason to shit up the statistics for political gain) say as much.

Anyway, done talkin' 'bout Corona. Back to pundits and pollsters being stupid as usual.
