Or just not give an answer to anything, wait till everything escalates and pay the consequences.

I cannot help but urge caution on celebrating too early. He's managed to worm his way out of similar spots where he seemed to be fucked.

I'm just going to keep watching before jumping to conclusions on this. I'm not a foreclosure expert so for all I know there may be some odd reason for Midfirst to not go after the deficiency assuming Phil defaults (which he likely will since that means no more HOA fees), but I don't see why they wouldn't go for it since Phil is pretty clearly capable of paying off such a massive debt. Looking forward to future updates.
