I'm sure it probably is, at least for parts of it. Those thick black eschars are all dead skin. The living tissue under it, though, will register pain. To be honest, I think she's getting an endorphin high from the pain considering that she's picked enough flesh from her body to necessitate a double amputation in her near future. Someone with a normal response to pain would never do that to themselves willingly.

It started with a loss of feeling in the foot due to diabetic neurophathy[iirc], so he put his foot into boiling hot water to try to regain the feeling, but ended up making it worse. The end result comes after constant picking at the decaying flesh.

This happened in the Philippines, where healthcare is shady at best and almost non-existent in rural areas.

I read all of this thread and idk of it was mentioned or not, but I want to say this thread reminds me of ONLYuseMEBLADE/ Brian Risso thread bc both Brian and Kelly has been damaging their legs with the exception that Brian is doing this unintentionally unlike Kelly who is doing for attention, fame and for receiving Internet positive stickers from her social media accounts.

Oh, they're getting ready for an amputation/s. Those doctors are not going to fuck with her legs anymore- she's probably stalling so she can keep digging into the holes, but those legs are coming off. The doctors are definitely over her shit- not that they could fix it at this point.

There's a wound and infectious disease doctor in her area asking for recommendations on one of the med apps, for help deciding between wound care (debridement and graft) and bilateral BKA for "self-inflicted, gangrenous, non healing wounds with exposed dry tibial surface". He describes the patient as a "non-compliant young female". No images but it's got to be her. Bilateral self inflicted exposed tibiae?

I'm watching the comments to see what he decides to do. He is a younger physician specializing in wound care, as far as I can tell he's not working directly with any shrinks.
Don't want to say where I've found this, can't let that guy lose his job over this. I'd be asking for help too if it was me.

Info I didn't know:

She's had a second graft that didn't take. She's tried to leave AMA (she's intermittently inpatient and out, depending on how much she's fucking with the wounds/her bacterial load). They're very, very aware that she's interfering with wound healing. She's got a 1:1 nurse ratio when she's there. They've repeatedly used a wound vac on two of the holes. They've debrided multiple times but the surrounding skin is compromised and the underlying infection has become compartment syndrome, she's scraped at the bone surface with "a hard implement". She's not currently septic, though she has been.

FYI compartment syndrome is very unpleasant.

She is currently alive. That could change at any time though.

If he posts images/footage I'll bring it.

Does this mean she knows they know she's doing it to herself? So there's no pretending with her doctors, she's just keeping up the façade (Behcet's) online...?

It's not like Kelly has to tell them that she's doing it to herself. It's obvious. She has a history of mental illness and used to shove broken glass up her pussy and exsanguinate until she found a more effective way of munching. Now all of a sudden her first mystery illness has cured itself and she no longer requires blood transfusions. Her first skin grafts healed just fine while she was in hospital but then she was discharged and all of a sudden her legs were back to rotting off. You'd have to be stupid to not put two and two together.
I don't doubt that doctors have told her that they are on to her. Seems like she's not really getting much medical attention anymore.
