a standard psych eval will include an MMPI. This is a gold standard. It has sub scales that measure faking good, faking bad, inconsistent responding, narcissism. He will not be able to fake it. Best he can do is answer in a way which invalidates it, which is very telling and could be looked on as non-compliance.
im pretty confident even the most SJW psychologist will find it hard to give him anything less than a scathing eval. Because this eval is for the courts and can be contested, no shrink worth their salt will give him the PTSD diagnosis his Nurse Practitioner did.
the softball issue is that narcissism isn’t really fixable. So the eval might be a true revelation of his autism and deviance and narcissism, but they can’t force him to do any more than attend treatment. And if he fails to improve, it could be excused by his diagnosis itself. Maybe his therapist will call him out when he goes into victim mode but that’s not how rapport is made. If he is treated with an REBT or Reality Therapy approach, he’d likely get a lot more confrontation, but that’s not a common modality outside of prison.
