St. Charles, MO is quite dumb. Dueling chants of blue lives matter v. black lives matter. It seems like we have come to an impasse. If we can't agree on starting principles how can we even communicate?

Edit: Chicago is a guy running down the list of rules for cops and attempting to hold them accountable on their own rule-book. Why not learn the law and comply with it yourself?

Edit (more dumb thoughts): It is weird to watch blacks "protest" racism while allowing BLM, the Democratic Party, all of the Corporate Backers, Academia, and the elite in general totally appropriate their "movement," their chants, and their justified outrage about certain things.

I've been documenting shit in this thread for 5000 pages and doing my own research offsite. It's a truly bizarre feeling to read through his testimony and get the feeling that I am more informed and more correct than the Director of the FBI.

I'm not joking, this guy is either lying through his teeth or the glow boys simply aren't tracking the same people and digging through comms like the super evil spooks we think they are.

The headline bit is more mUh rUsSiA fodder for the TDS crowd.

He gets Q Anon mostly correct, at least.

The MSM is, to no one's surprise, distorting the reality of Wray's testimony today.

"We don't really think of threats in terms of left and right at the FBI. We're focused on the violence not the ideology. Our domestic violent extremists include everything from racially motivated violent extremists, which we've talked about here in this committee, before, I think, when I testified last year for example, all the way to anti-government, anti-authority violent extremists and that includes people ranging from anarchist violent extremists, people who subscribe to ANTIFA or other ideologies, as well as militia types and those kinds. ​

Even that video going around that supposedly confirms that Wray said that white supremacists make up the largest share of racially motivated terrorists in the United States isn't entirely accurate. That video originates from NowThis, who chopped off the very end of that video where Wray clarified that, "This year the lethal attacks, domestic terrorism lethal attacks, have I think all fit in the category of anti-government, anti-authority which covers everything from anarchist violent extremists to militia types."




I have no idea why Wray gets so "bendy" when it comes to trying to sort the non-existent differences between ideological political violence and organizational political violence, but as much of an infuriating bastard as Wray can be at times, the mainstream media is still wholly misrepresenting the actual hearing, because the mainstream media lies.

So the thing to understand about "fence-sitters" is that the bad ones do, indeed, sit. The good ones, though, just give off that impression - they tend to have a general, internal idea of what they're going to do and what side they're going to pick, but they don't give it off until they're really, truly sure about it -- the better to draw in favorable arguments and strong disagreements from people. Having watched this old thing, though, I think I can't even keep up the veneer. I don't really like much about Trump, and I'd really prefer a litany of other conservatives or liberals. But the choice is him... or Kamala, only one of whom is totally okay with people literally rolling up to houses and harassing them. I'm voting, nose-held, for orange man.

Yeah, BLM, sure did a whole lot for black people. You guys got, uhhh. Uhhhh. I mean, I guess you raised some money you didn't dispense. Totally worth it!
