I don't wanna be a massive asshole and say there's no fucking way you have PTSD, but it's pretty hard to believe sometimes when your posts sound nothing like the musings of someone who's traumatised and suffering from the symptoms of said condition. I could be misremembering the lore, but according to staph herself, the only thing a professional has diagnosed her with was schizophrenia, a diagnosis she refused To accept. I think she just sees a regular therapist, and please correct me if I am wrong, therapists can not diagnose people. She just has spoiled tard syndrome.

No i do remember this vaguely. I think it may have been after the hand sanitiser incident, or whatever got her hospitalised, a doctor suggested she was schizophrenic. It was posted about here somewhere, i'll see if i can dig back and find it.

Page 15 of the thread. Like I said, as far as I know this is the only actual psychiatrist she's seen and that's what he came up with. It's probably also the reason she avoids talking about the ghosts with her therapist now. Also correct me if I'm wrong but "I've been hallucinating since I was a child" shouldn't rule you out for schizophrenia? I'm no expert on the DSM criteria but I don't think that's in there.

Whatever you say about her therapists, her family really did send her to the big boy psyches when she kept threatening to/"trying" to kill herself and she got sent to the hospital. I'm pretty sure they figured out she's just in it for attention.

Here's the thing , Staph: even if people do believe in angels, ghosts, spirits, etc...they have the common sense not to bring it up to psychiatric professionals or in a professional setting.

I think she uses it as an excuse for her own vindictive thoughts, the actions she'd like to take, but she knows they're wrong. Her ghosts want to harm her employer? That's because Staph wants to. I'm not sure if it's intelligence or a mental condition to place 'the blame' of wanting to take those actions on her ghosts.

Oddly enough (and a bit of a power level), I worked with an Autistic girl who once drew a school shooting scene because she didn't get what she wanted. Well, we had to call in the school psychologist & couldn't let her back to class & couldn't send her home because it was a threat to harm others. So, we're sitting in the office for over an hour & she starts to draw.

Turns out, it was a ghost who told her to do it. She said a ghost of a boy, wearing a black trench coat & a cap with a 'B' on it told her to hurt all those students. Gee, what famous school shooter wore a trench coat & was a fan of the Boston Red Sox...?

So, eventually, her mom arrives & we can send her home. The girls starts sobbing, saying "They won't leave me alone, they want me to do bad things, they want to do bad things..." We show the mom the drawing & tell her about the ghosts & the mom (who was also Autistic) says "Oh, yes. All my children see ghosts."

I could totally see Staph trying to pull something like that. "It wasn't me! It was Ricky! He loves me & he wants to hurt the people who make me sad!"
