To answer the question nobody asked yet, yes, he is wearing a T-shirt with text on it that looks political for a picture with his newborn, but no, the T-shirt is not political unless you're a bagel autist. Appears to be a promotional shirt by Rise Bagel Co.

I thought I had a juicy story because I found the shirt but the link to buy it 404ed from google, and checking the google cache for the link indicated it was still up as of Sept 4, so my "shut it down" senses were tingling and I thought for a second that a company took down a shirt an unpopular local politician was wearing in a picture for twitter...which would have been extremely funny.

I poked around a little more and discovered that unfortunately this series of suspicious looking circumstances were probably a result of a boomer web-designer using 4square not realizing they could just leave the directory named "shop" and change the text for the link to say "bodega", and instead they just broke the old indexed links by renaming their shop directory to "bodega" which caused all the 404s.

This is a rant but I get you tbh. I never had such a visceral reaction to someone I didn't know at all just having a face in public until all this bs started. If you could somehow reverse the last 60 years or so of Democratic Party pandering, they would probably be just fine in general. Unfortunately I don't believe it can be reversed as the modern black community seems all too happy to stay on the dole, and the ones that aren't happy with that are usually derided or deemed Uncle Toms for "acting white" or whatever the fuck. I guess maintaining gainful employment, not shooting at your neighbors and actually wanting something to call your own is a white thing now. Older black people tend to be based as fuck because they can still remember time before gibs and "black culture" took hold. Ironically it seems like black people in the south are doing somewhat better than their cohorts up north or on the west coast, though it isn't really saying much. Africans in general don't act anything like African Americans.

The pandering and dependency manifested by it have done the lion's share, there are of course genetic differences and certain environments they are better suited towards, much like anyone else. But I'd say the welfare state is about 65% responsible for what's going on. Instead of realizing this, the usual suspects are all-too-content to simply blame "wypipo" and usually the GOP.
