Exactly this. And his mindset of "Once I have it then it's mine to do with however I please, and no one has any say in it" is one of the most disgusting and infuriating things about Louie. It perfectly highlights just how selfish, greedy, unappreciative, and ungrateful he is. It's his bloated sense of entitlement stripped bare. It also highlights what I've said about Louie being incapable of appreciating the things he has because he didn't earn them.
I know the whole "the Xbox was a gift" story is a complete fabrication, but let's pretend he's telling the truth for once in his worthless life. Imagine a friend of Louie's working hard to earn the money to buy him an Xbox One S. That's not a cheap piece of hardware, so they had to have worked probably three or four days to afford it. That's at least 1/4 of their paycheck if they get paid every other week. Probably more like 1/3. So they worked several days and sacrificed a sizable chunk of their income, not to mention putting things they likely wanted to buy for themselves on hold to be a generous person, and Louie turns around and decides it's not good enough for him anymore. He's going to sell it off and "make the switch" to Playstation. If I were that friend I'd publicly give Louie a piece of my mind, let everyone see just what a greedy, childish, ungrateful piece of shit he is, then tell him to go find some new friends to take advantage of.
But everyone can see the story for the lie that it is. Everyone knows he just bought it himself and lied about it being a gift (honestly, who spends $300+ on a friend just out of the blue?). Louie sees himself as an intelligent, crafty master manipulator, when in reality he's always blatantly transparent with his bullshit schemes. It's just that he's been lucky to have found some idiots who will continue to line his pockets and not call him out on his lies and bullshit.
