1. Blame Trump

Honestly it's weird how both in 2016 and 2020 there were sane candidates in the Democrat primaries but never made it far due to not really being far left or not part of the deep establishment which were Tulsi, Yang, and Jim Webb who could've easily been a great president if he got far, but it's sad he lost.

I think he's smart when it comes to internet/tech related policies and he seemed more sane than most democrats since he is the only one besides Tulsi in the 2020 Clown race who are willing to work with republicans.

Where are the concentration camps for the illegals and the gays? Where are the suspension of civil liberties, the transformation into a dictatorship, the removal of free speech and free elections? Not a damn one. Hell, Trump has probably been one of the most anti-government presidents in quite some time; pretty much any president in the last few decades would have seized on the Wu Flu opportunity and bloated the federal government further, but Trump delegated responsibility to each state to handle their own response. You can argue whether that was an effective strategy, but you can't argue that's a big deal for states' rights.
