New characters can work, but I wish he could've let those who were killed have more time to develop, the second one is the cinematic/movie version right? Or alt from the comic version.
DA Talks and I had Tim on stream at the end of July. Since then he's been on with Doug TenNapel, once. Pellegrini streams once a week on The Bunderdome and talks about TV shows for an hour. The last one was about Neo Ultra Q.
Despite what @FROG says, constant live streams are not a substitute for excellent product and customer service.
Pandemic was supposed to be an experiment, not the start of a tangent.
Meyers needs to re-examine what made people interested in the products he puts out and readjust accordingly.
I have to agree with @FROG about Meyer reconnecting with his audience should be a priority aka finding out what they really want.
I mostly agree with @VIkkiVerse, but Doug TenNapple does both.
I especially liked how Doug went to the printing company and did vlogs about how Earthworm Jim was being made, step by step.
It's those behind the scenes stuff that adds a new layer for backers to remain interested.

Livestreams are the marketing arm of a comic book crowdfunder. They get the word out to the most possible people.
From there, an excellent product and customer service takes over.
Livestreaming isn't a "substitute", it's the engine.
When those fellows were on ComicArtistPro Secrets, they raised $76,000 on their Space Trump book. That was a TRUMP BOOK. They haven't duplicated that feat since.
They'd hit six figures on a boobie book if they adequately promoted it.

I'm not a fan of his art but I remember meeting someone at the LCS back when Marvel had Malin on that talking about how much he liked Malin because it was the closest thing to 90s X books that had been put out in a while. I haven't bought any of the GS books though, so can't speak for their quality.
Graveyard Shift 1 was pretty bad, I still backed the second and third, but I haven't read the second yet.
Spoilered review below for those who haven't read it.
The main characters are extremely unlikable from the get go. The Dracula and Bride characters have an affair early on and the Bride cheats on her husband The Monster. It instantly turned me off the main two, who want's to root for a cheating wife and an asshole? Especially when they are supposed to be heroes.
While I'm a fan of T&A, Jon's depiction of women is almost anime levels of fan service. Over sized buttocks and breasts to the point where it's nearly absurd and you stop for a double take on some panels.
The entire book is violent as hell and culminates with a fetus being blown out of a pregnant woman's stomach, while I enjoy violent comics the gore and violence was completely over the top. It would be something an edgy teen who gore posts on the chans would come up with.
The Universal monsters as Xmen was a bland idea from the beginning, I was willing to give it a go but it failed to captivate me or get me invested in the characters, especially with them being so unlikable. Having Van Helsing as the primary villain could have been an interesting alternative take but he just comes across as a cheap supernatural Lex Luthor.
4/10 - Bland, unimaginative and completely forgettable.
Zack and Malin aren't working together anymore because their project was a 50/50 split. Jon did great for having to draw 48 or so pages. Zack had to spend his half paying the other talent as well, and Zack quickly realized he ought to hire less expensive talent.
I'd heard rumors that Jon wasn't paid a page rate and was to get a share of the profits, guess it's now confirmed. Jawbreakers was probably the best gamble he ever made, I doubt he or Zack expected it to do as well as it did.
Not a fan of zack killing off characters in the second book tbh, Maybe in the 3rd or 4th? Godking seems like a book for a final installment rather than a sequel.
Godking has a lot of problems but that is a big one. I think the main issue was the order in which Zack released them Lost Souls, Godking, Grand Bizarre. It would be like Lucasfilm releasing Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi and A New Hope in that order, the overall story appears disjointed. If Zack was to release a Jawbreakers omnibus with all the stories in chronological order, it would probably make more sense. For example:
Devildog Origin Story (GK)
Grand Bizarre (GB)
Sacred Blood (GB)
Lost Souls (LS)
Xaxi Respawn (GK)
Godking 1 (LS)
Godking 2 (LS)
Godking 3 (GK)
The problem is reading them in any order now has you jumping through three different graphic novels at different points.
On the topic of Tim Lim here are his metrics spoilered below, they are some of the more interesting:
*Price = the lowest physical tier available.
*Price per page = the lowest physical tier and includes bonus pages, comics and ashcans to the total.
*Funding/Backer = the average price paid per backer
*Campaigns are listed in chronological order
*Due to Indiegogo's system, shipping is included in the funded amount and final amount.
*Due to Indiegogo's system, backers buying multiple tiers during a campaign are considered multiple backers.
*Kickstarter results do not include shipping in the funded or final amount.
*Kickstarter backers are per individual backer and not by tiers like Indiegogo.

SUMMARY:
* First it should be noted that Tim Lim doesn't leave his campaigns open In-Demand as a store front, he has his own website Iconic Comics to do that for him. Tim also doesn't ship physical books internationally however does offer a cheap digital option for those backers. Tim additionally has one of the consistently lowest price per page offered to backers. These factors explain why in terms of funded amount he doesn't do as well as other crowdfunders despite having more backers.
* Out of 250 crowdfunded comics Tim Lim's Black Hops 3 Omnibus places 9th as having the cheapest price per page being over 200 pages at $20. To give you an idea how this compares to Comicsgate books The MEG/Sixgun/Deal With the Devil places 19th, Flying Fortress (Battle Damaged Edition) places 20th, Flying Fortress places 26th and Narwals Foreign Agent 27th.
* Lim utilizes both Kickstarter and Indiegogo, retaining Conservative backers who avoid Kickstarter while opening himself up to the larger number of backers Kickstarter has.
* From Trump Space Force to Wall-Might Part 2 Tim lost 897 backers (55.9%) and lost a further 403 backers (56.9%) from Wall-Might 2 to Black Hops 2. From Trump Space Force to Black Hops 2 he lost 1300 backers (81%). Staggering losses considering these two campaigns were launched close to his separation from Comicsgate.
* Since the split Lim's numbers have dramatically improved with Kamen America on Indiegogo surpassing Trump Space Force as his most backed campaign.
* Tim's price per page is on an overall downtrend from Trump Space Force to the Black Hops 3 Omnibus, in some cases halving from the previous campaign.
* Tim's average price per backer trends up and down, but is far healthier than other campaigns (see Zack). When funding per backer falls but the numbers of backers increase this is a sign of a healthy long term trend.
* While Tim's campaigns don't hit six figures like others, he is on an upward trend when comparing Black Hops 2 to Black Hops 3, WallMight 2 to WallMight 3 and probably Kamen America 1 to Kamen America 2 (once that campaign is complete.)
TLDR: Tim Lim after crashing from his exodus from Comicsgate has recovered considerably well considering the performance of other exiles like Jon Del Arroz, Mike S Miller, Nasser or Ben Henderson. While his funding amounts aren't spectacular compared to others, this could be due to his books being TOO cheap, something I'm sure no one is going to complain about. Given his price per page is falling overall, Tim is probably testing how cheap he can offer his books to his audience while still making a profit, which explains his rapid growth in backer numbers.

Tim is prolific and puts his books out for a very low price. I'm very happy his books do well.
I wish I could draw so i could release that quickly. For budget reasons, we only have 4 pages and the cover done for Trixie book 2, SCP is still only halfway done, and this superhero comic that the artist had a script for since January only has 5 pages penciled and inked, and dont count as done because it's lacking grayscale.
I notice that Lim switched back to Kickstarter for Kamen America #2. It probably helped boost his numbers, but Kickstarter also has a "#BlackLivesMatter" link at the top of the page which links to a page on BlackLivesMatter.com about defunding the police. Seems like a clash with Lim's nationalistic books and, supposedly, audience. But I suppose putting profit above politics is the most American thing of all.

I'd argue that Comicsgate was never about boycotting companies people disagreed with and more about not being subject to deplatforming at the whim of radical leftist political commissars. The impossibility of ethical conservative consumerism in this day and age is one of the few things I see 100% consensus on regarding people who are involved beyond making shitposts on social media.
Zack screwed up when he turned G0dK1ng books 1 and 2 into stretch goals for Lost soul. He should have done Grand Bizarre or seperate origins stories for the JB back then instead of remaking his failed kickstarters that led to the end of the franchise to save money.
Then, he could aim for quarterly albums that lead to G0dKing (he could hire different artists to do each, like he does now) and maybe add a couple different books in between. The moment Grand Bizzare got funded, he should have announced the JawBreakers Next Story campaign is coming in two months and this is going to be HUGE! Keeping the hype for the book.
At this moment, he produces too many books without making an effort to expand to a new audience or change his video production. He could get on cam for some higher quality videos in the vein of comictropes, hire an editor on fiverr to save time and do a livestream every second week (a livestream a day is just too much time wasted imho) to go on updates or chilling.

When you put it like that it does look rather stupid. I'm not even sure if anyone in mainstream comics has ever done such thing, especially for a new property. Closest thing that comes to my mind at the moment is Morrison's Action Comics run, but that was done for story purposes to show that everything is happening at the same time. This just looks random.

Okay, sure, but the reason Zack went on IGG in the first place, and so many others followed, was because a radical leftist political commissar (or someone under her influence) apparently wouldn't let him start his campaign on KS. She herself may no longer be there but I don't have any confidence that the powers that be there now wouldn't buckle if enough bored people on Twitter decided to throw a fit about alt-right white supremacist dreamers-in-cages-supporter Timothy Lim having a campaign there. And at any rate I'd argue that Lim's target audience would be a lot more political than Zack's or Ethan's.
Contrast with Richard. He's gone from Jon Malin to a bevy of cheaper unknown artists some of whom are similar in style. He's got multiple unfulfilled campaigns.
Its also kinda hypocritical for Zack to trash artists who trace 3d assets for years on his channel only to now release a book that's 99% traced 3d assets.

I don't like that BlackLivesMatter hashtag under the KICKSTARTER logo, but Lim, Smiller or TenNapel funding with Kickstarter seems like a good thing. My idea was that ComicsGate should be able to work wherever they want to. @MisterDongs has it right.
Lim and Smiller in particular SHOULD use Kickstarter, since their books are so overtly right wing. Kickstarter needs to choke down more gay Trump comics while they're virtue signalling for a domestic terrorist organization disguised as a civil rights movement.
I'm not interested in giving them a campaign at this time. That could change in a few years, but IndieGoGo has been mostly really great to CG despite harassment, and they deserve my 5% fee.

I imagine that the thought of these books doing well on Kickstarter while the more deranged staff on the site are seething brings a bit of a chuckle to you.
YBZ is a bit too litteral to pull off a Twilight Zone episode. And neither French-style Sci Fi (Impossible Stars)
But he could read a lot more European adventure comics and try to apply what they did so well in his next Iron Sights books. IS2 jumped the shark imho.
No, you are just protecting comicsgate...
they are good enough for floppies but not for GNs.
You will be hard pressed to find worse art in a space GN...

Yeah, Chuck Dixon being on that book had nothing to with those numbers. ComicsGate and livestreaming has done nothing to promote that book since 2018 and it's still in print. Matter of fact, I could get it on Amazon today.
BTW, Kamen America 2 in on track to surpass that number without you or constant livestreaming.
Brian Pulido ran CHAOS COMICS for a decade, training a devoted fanbase to purchase exclusive rarities and gimmick covers, amassing a following that was competitive with IMAGE COMICS.
He's nowhere near that big now, obviously, but many of those fans have remained loyal. He stays in close contact with them via social media and email lists, and is able to spin out consistent $300K+ crowdfunders for Lady Death campaigns.
He doesn't grow. He doesn't shrink. His fans stick around.
Very few creators are in his shoes. Billy Tucci might have been, since SHI was almost as popular in day. But he doesn't seem to have that same rabid following for SHI anymore. He's going to have to get them back.
Meanwhile, Jon Malin and Cecil can come very close to Brian Pulido's numbers, ($200-250K) without having had his long and consistent career because they livestream and promote themselves every night.

Chuck Dixon is a terrific writer whose name does not guarantee numbers in crowdfunds. The numbers bear that out. He's been a part of enormous success with Vox Day's comics and Ya Boi Zack's EXPENDABLES, and he's done not so well with Ben Henderson and others.
TRUMP SPACE FORCE sold $70K because of ComicsGate and my livestreams.
Tim Lim seems to have established a fanbase of 1000-1200 fans that back him on Kickstarter. Looks like he's got almost all of them onboard already. I could be proven wrong, and he might double that number this time, but my question for you is how?
How do you reach more customers without marketing work and advertising?
