The FBI's been more or less compromised since Obama repealed a lot of the old post-Hoover restrictions and stacked the upper echelons with "his guys" who then started to recruit more from pozzed woke colleges and Silicon Valley (since digital crime has become more prevalent in the last ten years or so thanks to the internet being a part of everyday life) but then again, the FBI has always focused on a "pet issue" to distract from actual issues.

In Hoover's day, it was COINTELPRO and going after anyone who Hoover personally despised while in the 70's and 80's they focused more on taking down the Italian Mafia and Irish Mob and once the mob was more or less brought down in the early 90's, the FBI started to focus more on militias, cults, and serial killers until 9/11 happened and terrorism became the issue du jour. Now the main panic is over domestic terrorism but they go after "white supremacist incel" strawmen since the DNC doesn't want them going after actual domestic terrorists like Antifa, BLM, and the DSA because those guys are politically useful for the DNC (or were up until extremely recently)

Hoover's FBI was the only one that wasn't just a political tool of whoever was in the White House at the time, and that's because it was instead a political tool of Hoover himself, one of the biggest degenerate maniacs ever to take over a large chunk of the government without ever having been elected to anything.

Most of the higher-ups in the org. including the woman who rented the truck received Soros Open Society direct cash grants and accolades. It's been floating around for a few days now and I think it was reported on twitter first with links to the grants.
