Canada just tried UBI with the CERB coronavirus emergency relief. $500 a week. And there were tons of people who decided not to go back to work and just collect autismbucks and sit on the couch playing playstation. It has created the biggest budget deficit in Canadian history and is completely unsustainable unless drastic changes to the formula were implemented.

Friedman was OK with it, but it would replace all other forms of government money and would only be enough to afford to live in the cheapest area of the country. No one would be able to afford to live in a Toronto or NYC on UBI.

I'd watch his Live Wire videos, because his playthroughs were some of my favorite content (Phantasmagoria 2, Swat 4, Final Fantasy VIII). At least there is a huge archive on Youtube.

This is getting to creepy stalker levels of weird. Normal people don't do this. Noah doesn't know her. Noah doesn't want to talk to her. Noah doesn't want to sleep with her. Yet she keeps on going on.
She has potential to be a lolcow since she doesn't understand that she is oversharing information on the internet. She is obsessed and stalking Noah and then tags him in her tweet letting him know she is obsessed and stalking him.
This is not healthy behavior. For someone who advocates for mental health, why does she act like a complete nutcase?
Only a matter of time until she attempts to assassinate the president to gain Spoony's undying love.

I love all the breathless appeals to Noah's non-existent God.
How can you be a fan of Spoony and not know that fedora-tipping atheism is like one of his Top 3 character traits?
And it's worth repeating that these admitted headcases like Noah and Rachel never stop to consider that their mental problems make their political views highly suspect and based more on paranoid hatred rather than rational logic.
No no, it's that curious form of mental illness that can't make somebody wrong about politics, of course.

The thing that gets me about her is that she thinks she's coming across as extremely empathetic, caring and selfless, when all she does and says is purely to make him notice her. She keeps saying things like "even though I am feeling terrible, my illness is flaring up, blah, blah, blah, I still care more about helping Spoony than about myself" [I'm quoting her almost verbatim] and thinks she's being sneaky here. Or maybe she actually believes this, I'm not sure, but this would make her even crazier.
