Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has died at 87. - 🦀

Well i'm going to bed. Hopefully Mitch takes Bogota's Best and starts pushing another nom. Not because of political reasons, I want screaming, unholy screaming, from these pissbabies.

I want to say again, I hated the womans politics, and her personality did not help, but no one deserves to die of pancreatic cancer, and everyone regardless of who they are deserves peace. RIP Ginsburg.

Maybe it's because I'm a filthy zoomer, but I didn't know she was that well liked. The only things I really remember her doing was abortion rights and gay marriage.
You ever have any of your classmates die while you were in high school?
Remember how literally everyone pretended to be sad, even the people who didn't know them at all?

That's exactly what's happening right now. Just a virtue signalling extravaganza.

And in Maine, pushing through a Supreme Court nominee ain't it, which is why the Senate vote needs to happen after the election and before the inauguration.

Why give her opponent something to campaign against her on and drive up turnout? Better to have said opponent railing about a battle already lost. Collin's is pretty screwed either way. But the second has the benefit of enraging her opposition and triggering temper tantrums, which in turn drives support to the Right.

A totally organic vigil has formed outside the Supreme Court.

Not one of these morons has ever read a single thing RBG has written nor listened to a word she said.

On most days, I think that you’re a useful devil’s advocate. Today is not one of those days.

If the Republicans go for it (Which, for the record, I don’t think that McConnell will. The man is all about precedent.) they’d be playing by the rules that Democrats wanted to play by in 2016, ignoring their own precedent. Literally called the Biden rule. Democrats agitated for it during Obama’s final year because they were too stupid realize that doing so while they didn’t hold the senate was a fool’s errand. It would be just as easy to say “we’ll try it your way. Hearing’s in a week.”, they would again have no one to blame but themselves because these are the rules that they wanted to play by.

And if you think that March or September is a meaningful difference? Well, the difference between March of 2016 and November of 2015 was wasn’t a meaningful difference to the dems four years ago when it was a precedent that Joe Biden set.

Tactically? This will benefit whoever exploits this better and Trump already ran this page out of the playbook the first time that he was up for election with Scalia.

In the meantime, STFU... You have the memory of a goldfish.

Moscow Mitch has already said he is going for it. And like I quoted in the post you quoted, he said it was "PRECEDENT!"

Wait, what? She was Jewish, not black.

Racists are so dumb they don't even know the difference between black and jewish people

They don't actually care about RBG, they just hate $CurrentRepublicanPresident and whomever the media points them at.

There's also the fact that they've made RBG into some sort of phylactery for abortion, which has somehow become a cornerstone of our entire society according to the left.
