Which reminds me, I need to get a pair of gloves... maybe driving gloves. They're thin enough that you can manipulate objects with them and they don't leave fingerprints.

Yeah really the assumption that he wouldn't be disarmed almost instantly is laughable at best. He doesn't work out, he's got no muscle mass or physical size for an advantage, anyone halfways decent in a scrap would just grab it when he swung and tear it right out of his hands.
