Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has died at 87. - 🦀

Honestly living outside the USA and reading about all of this is just fucking baffling, you dumbasses ruined international travel for everyone, even people who never had any plans to go to the USA because of 9/11 and the paranoiac collective shitfit you threw about terrorism, but let all of this shit happen in your country just because its "domestic".
What the fuck is wrong with you people
Ugh, you foreigners are the fucking worst. Stick to your “international clique” threads. Quit shitting up our glorious website

I get your point
paying billions of dollars for Foreign Wars to stop terrorism in countries that aren't anywhere near the United States while allowing for terrorism on your own soil is retarded
honestly where are the anti-terrorism task forces
yeah people are starting to put their foot down now but it's really way too late they should have done it 2 years ago but instead, they allowed it to fester and now we are left with this shit show
Stronger acts sooner would have stopped this
I get the need to preserve America/western supremacy in the international sphere by consolidating control over the middle east fuel resources, because otherwise Russia and China would had taken them already if there wasn't direct USA opposition (because lest face it the Europe army has a limpdick held back by even more flaccid politicians).
But masking it under the guise of playing superman and having the higher moral ground led to shit like this and doesn't make any sense anymore, i just wish they where more honest with the goal and quit the bullshit, but it is bullshit where the left excels
Ugh, you foreigners are the fucking worst. Stick to your “international clique” threads. Quit shitting up our glorious website
Fuck you nigger, take your complaint to Null, i'm allowed here until he says otherwise

I think that the Democrats are going to riot and rioting is what murdered their support. Ruth's death does nothing but further cement Trump's re-election chances because nobody who was sitting on the fence is going to suddenly get up and go, "Oh shit the old lady died, time to vote for the comparatively-old Biden."

And that's assuming that Trump and McConnell won't fucking slam an appointment through before the election. If they do that, then... Fuck it, there's no reason for these people to even go and vote. That would absolutely decimate whatever's left of their morale. I know that essentially everyone on that side of the aisle is shrieking about McConnell's hypocrisy, but not only are they ignoring the specifics of his dissension, which was that the appointment should be delayed when the White House and the Senate weren't controlled by the same party, but they're ignoring one very obvious piece of information that anyone with a pulse knows is true:

They'd appoint whoever they wanted if they held the cards right now. Because the Democrats always play fair, you see. They never spy on political campaigns or fill Special Counsels with Clinton supporters or try to destroy the lives of Supreme Court nominees for drinking beer or try impeaching the President for something that Joe Biden did. No, they'd never do that, they're always as straight as an arrow.

If the Democrats controlled the White House and the Senate, we'd already be congratulating Supreme Court Justice Hillary Rodham Clinton.
Democrats slam Republicans for racism, real or imagined, but then without hesitation lean into decades-old racist epithets to further their own goals. The public don't notice because they tend to do this against white ethnic groups.
For the whole Russia collusion bit, they leaned into Cold War era hysteria with assumptions of subversive sleepy agents around every corner and Guilt-absent-evidence. For Kavanaugh, it was a blatant attack on his Irishness and his Catholicism, firstly in assuming he couldn't control himself if even a drop of alcohol was in his system, and secondly in presuming his loyalty to Rome would trump his decades-long education in the legal system.

She died on the Jewish Day of Judgement. I think God was getting tired of waiting..
Matthew 7:1
Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?

Tbh, as much as I loathe Mitch McConnell, he was right here. Be careful about giving yourself a weapon you wouldn't want to give to your enemy. The democrats are now paying the price for that. They might also be a bit more gunshy about court-packing. Do they really want to open the door for there to be 15 Scalia's on the bench?
If they could think ahead like this and process cause and effect they wouldn't be leftists would they.

If given the chance, I'm sure that at least one if them will try to overthrow any liberal right such as Roe v. Wade. That one case has been the bane of boomers' existences since its inception.
You say that like it's a bad thing.

Seriously go back and read that decision. Whether you want abortions to be legal or not the decision was dogshit. Judges should not make shit up or reinterpret the constitution to apply to things it clearly wasn't meant to imply. And the best thing is RBG agreed. She wanted it overturned and enshrined in a law passed by congress, like it should have always been if it was going to be legal. Then you realize the whole case was based on a lie.

It's Mitch McConnell, would you expect a slimy bastard like him not to be a hypocrite? It's comes with the territory of being a senior senator for decades, regardless of party affiliation.
He gave a speech on the senate floor telling Schumer, et al, they would regret their decision. He's just keeping a promise.

Unlikely to happen. Even FDR with his stonking great multiple landslides couldn't manage to pack the Supreme Court.
He didn't have to. The mere threat was enough for the SCOTUS to declare a farmer in Kansas growing oats to feed his own horses in a violation of federal law. For anyone unaware, this is how we got the supremacy clause.

I'm gonna fucking laugh at anyone that complains about Republican hypocrisy in pushing through another justice.

After the last five years of the left turning pro-war, pro-violence, turning into victim blamers, demanding people with guns rise up and fight the government for them, and in every other way doing an about-face on every single one of the supposed pillars of their entire belief system just to pwn Drumpf, you're gonna have the fucking audacity to complain about ramming through a justice with the nuclear option you demanded? Really?

They literally won't ever learn. Combination of short memory, puritanical idealism, autism, and general lack of marketable skills/sense of self worth means that these fucking exceptional individuals will always claim that the ends justify the means until the means are used by someone else.

As fucked as 2020 has been, it's maybe the most entertaining year in memory.
