Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has died at 87. - 🦀

Maybe we'll get another one of these:

Probably more colorful hair on the screecher this time.
good times. Every woman who was mad at Chad for getting over her and doing much better than she is let out a cry of anguish that day.

I wonder if this time it will be all the childless progressives mad at Coney Barrett for having a big beautiful family and calling her racist for adopting and loving black kids as her own.

Ding Dong, the ugliest Female Supreme Court Judge died.

My Pastor hated her since she believed that the American age of consent should be LOWERED TO 14.

But rest in pieces.

Strong disagree. Young RBG was pretty normal looking. Not really particularly ugly or beautiful. Of course she looks worse with age and having cancer half a dozen times.

Meanwhile Young Kagan.

I was joking really. She looked severe in official photos of her in high school textbooks.
And as for my Pastor he's a typical Southern Baptist Conservative, so his sermons on her were 4 prior to Corona. Wasn't she a Democrat?

The weird thing is how we all treat the 9 justices as the rule even though it's not fixed in the Constitution. Same with the House having just 435 members, while Britain, which has just 1/5 of our population, has more than 600 MPs in their House of Commons. These are all things that Congress decided on and just never bothered changing, like the number of members of Congress used to rise every decade with the population until they arbitrarily capped it at 435 in the House. A lot of things that we take for granted in our system of government aren't actually in the Constitution, and I think if the public was more aware of that we'd see more of a push to change things.
Yeah which is why I mentioned needing an amendment to at least stop packing of the SCOTUS. I don't particularly feel strongly about packing of the lower federal courts because they will probably at some point need to be expanded as the population grows.

Increasing or decreasing House representatives is sort of moot considering they're a proportional representative body although sometimes I think I'd like to see a few more to see if it would make them more responsive to their constituents. The House is supposed to be a bunch of chickens running around with their heads cut off anyway. I'm happy to leave that up to legislation and don't feel very strongly about it.

The way people on twitter who couldn't name one SC justice a week ago are suddenly acting like Ginsburg was some kind of woke queen is what really gets me. She was born in the 1930s. She criticized Kaepernick kneeling for the national anthem. She approved an oil pipeline through Native American land. She was close friends with Scalia, who was insanely conservative, and that alone would get her cancelled in modern internet culture.

They don't give a fuck. They know she pissed off Trump and that's all that matters. I mean, people forgave John Mccain and Mitt Romney for their fuckerys all because ORANGE MAN BAD.

I agree about the court, but increasing the House is necessary because they're supposed to be a proportional representative body. The requirement that every state have at least one Representative while simultaneously limiting the size of the House to 435 makes a mockery of the notion of proportional representation.

That's the elephant in the room for white feminists. Accepting that their 20th century feminist heroes were still incredibly racist. They have yet to properly reconcile that past with the present, and it's why black/latina feminists are often at odds with them.

Looking through some of the responses, it seems like you can predict how hysterical/LARPy a liberal can be based on how vacant their expression is. Can't wait to read the broscience takes on this phenomenon.
