U.S. Riots of May 2020 over George Floyd and others - ITT: a bunch of faggots butthurt about worthless internet stickers

I'm not sure it's related to Antifa/BLM but it's worth keeping an eye on. Someone was arrested for causing a subway train derailment in NYC. Article (archive) If it is related, expect the local and national media to memory hole it with the quickness.
I'd say it is.In Canada before the coof antifa derailed at least 3 trains and cut the supports on a railway trestle in BC. All their pages like Montreal CounterInfo and NorthShore Counterinfo were posting bomb recipes and thermite recipes to derail trains,as well as doing "news releases" gloating about committing arsons on rail properties (switchboxes, maintanence buildings, etc)

It's because /pol/, Gab, and the Stormfags all more or less agreed to just sit down, lock the doors, and let their enemies self-destruct in their own frenzy. The "Scenario B" meme, if you will. So far, it's worked.

The actual alt-right learned their lesson the hard way after Charlottesville and Tarrant's rampage more or less solidified it. They're hunkering down, although there were rumors of actual action after Kenosha Kyle, but then he got railroaded so they're going to wait until the election is over and the Rittenhouse court proceedings are done.

Considering their commander-in-chief was a Stasi collaborator and the country has collective self-loathing written into their very constitutional laws, I'd say Germany is more or less okay with this type of commie bullshit.

Antifa gets government funding under the Merkel regime.

I know I've said it many times but punk culture was a mistake and punk was never good.

Someone should put some pronouns and pride flags in their Twitter bio and then tell them about Lenin's persecution of LGBT people. Or Stalin's. Or Mao's. Or the Kim Dynasty's. Or Castro's.

Eh, if you lived in the Bible Belt, it could get pretty bad but the issue was that it was all regional and never went national outside of the West Memphis Three trial (and that eventually became a death knell for the fundies) and most of the national outcries of the fundies and neocons were either lone nutcases attacking abortion clinics (who were quickly denounced) or typical "think of the children" attempts at media censorship.

Any genuine control of secular government was all at the local level and any national influence the fundies had was entirely because of the neocons bankrolling them as useful idiots.

The same is happening with neoliberals funding the Woke Left but the Woke Left emerged more or less from the ashes of the hated Religious Right. Keep in mind that the reason women tend to get alienated by any attempt at anti-progressive rhetoric is entirely due to the fundies more or less being associated with anti-progressivism for multiple generations. Nobody except Boomer rednecks and internet traditionalist faggot Zoomer edgelords like The Distributist want us to be a Christian theocracy or have a society based on those morals.

The coalfields of central Appalachia was more or less a de facto Calvinist theocracy in many places back in the 80's and 90's, but if you didn't live there you'd have no idea. The only actual cult-like control of authorities from the Religious Right that got national attention was West Memphis Three, and that eventually boomeranged on the fundies and more or less made the rest of the country hate the Bible Belt with a searing passion.

If the 2020 Election goes well for Trump and we see a wider backlash, then the George Floyd riots would be like the West Memphis Three and Charlottesville combined in terms of how it will affect the Woke Left.

A lot of people forget that the only reason why the Weimar Republic had all the prevalent open homosexuality, drag queens (not transgender, unless they were a rare dysphoric), and a cabaret culture of drugs and prostitution being de facto decriminalized is not because Germany was a liberal progressive country under the Weimar government but because it was a dysfunctional basket case of a failed state where nothing could get done. All those things were illegal on the books under German laws but the authority of the Republic largely existed only on paper in most places, even in the capital of Berlin.

The Freikorps, the Bolshevik gangs, the Iron Front (who were liberal social democrats that hated the communists and anarchists every bit as much as the fascists), the anarchist mad bombers, and the like were all more or less the raiders from Mad Max or the gangs in The Warriors but IRL and you even had gangs of "Wild Boys" who were gangs of gay teenage boys who were more or less the homo version of A Clockwork Orange.

The Weimar Republic was a low-functioning basket case country in the best of times and a total anarchist dystopia in the worst of times. We did get a lot of cinematic landmarks like Dr. Caligari, Metropolis, and Nosferatu and breakthroughs in architecture and music but they happened in spite of the Weimar Republic's government, not because of it.

The left using the words "deplorables" unironically in 2020 is like a right-winger unironically quoting Ben Shapiro and Sargon in 2020.

IIRC, they often use "democracy" or "democratic republic" as a shorthand since a Constitutional Republic (or at least the American model of it) uses representative democracy to distinguish it from the aristocratic republics like the ancient Roman Republic or the merchant republics of medieval Italy and the Netherlands.
It wasn't so much punk as it was a ersatz goth/bastardization of the Hot Topic generation of the mid 90s. A little bit of "Hesher" thrown in.

As much as people like to deny it, the "Hot Topic" crowd was a direct evolution of the punk and goth subcultures, no matter how much the pretentious "true goth" and "real punk" purist assholes like to constantly insist otherwise.

Wait, antifa did that? What are they even fighting for over there? Canada is liberal and socialist.

Are they labeled a terrorist group over there? Bombs are some serious shit.

Well duh. You get a counterculture or underground movement. The normie-friendly parts of it get commercialized and sell to the edgy middle-class kids and it becomes mainstream. The counterculture produces a new style or movement and it repeats.

I thought the same thing. From what i could tell, there was a passenger in there too, hopefully the doggo was getting walkies when his owner was getting runnies. Motherfuckers are lucky that dog didnt jump out and bite a chunk out of their asses. Also, poor dog, as soon as I saw the window break, I was worried about it stepping on glass. Fucking monsters.

Except in the case of punk counterculture, it was always pretentious and awful to begin with.

If anything, the Hot Topic pop punks are a lot less insufferable than the so-called "real punks" and the music tends to be marginally better too. Marginally.

I'd rather listen to "When I Come Around" than anything by The Clash, Crass, or Circle Jerks and I fucking hate Green Day.

The real problem here in Canada is white supremacy, thank you very much.

This post has been paid for by the CCP.

The only bits of Punk Culture I still like are GG Allin and Anal Cunt since both were equal opportunity offenders and were more than happy to beat the fuck out of whatever of the offended little faggots that were in the crowd

Canada is good at pretending to be a progressive utopia, but in reality it's just like America except with socialised medicine, fewer guns, and nogs swapped with Indians (both dot and feather). Our native population is 6% while America's is 3%, because our westward expansion was done by simply cutting deals with them. Also our knowledge of our own news is very sparse, so you get shit like residential schools and starlight tours persisting into the late 20th century. The woke need something to get mad about, so they eventually stumble on this.

A guy from Anal Cunt died in a weird way, like an anal cunt song.
"Ha ha you died falling off a mall escalator and you shit yourself"

You, my friend, are an earless, soulless monster.

I hate Green Day, and I don't even like the song I mentioned.

So that gives you an idea of how much I hate "real punk" music and the subculture surrounding it.

Anyone who actually enjoys punk rock unironically is either an earless soulless monster, a smug pretentious pseudo-intellectual douchebag, or a petty 14 year old tryhard (or someone with the mindset thereof)

The only good thing that came out of punk were the earliest goth rock bands from the 1980's like Siouxsie and The Banshees or The Sisters of Mercy and even goth went to shit pretty quickly too for the same reasons why punk was never good.

Good morning, catching up. In re: the news from last night (the triple shooting) one of the victims was black. Toreon Jermaine Hudson. He has a profile for Protect Environmental located in Louisville.

If this was posted already, I apologize, rate me l8, m8.

Looks like a nice guy, probably contributed a whole lot more to the world than the fuckstick that shot him.

That's one thing that's stuck out to me since this began, they'll destroy city blocks and beat people and commit murder because they're angry about 'police brutality' and racism, but they totally ignore the MUCH larger problem of black-on-black violence and gang violence. If Burn Loot Murder really stood for Black Lives Matter as they claim, they'd be working toward addressing gang violence and crime in black neighborhoods, maybe throwing some of that god damn bail money at the problem, which might actually help black people. Instead they tear up Portland, Minneapolis, LA, Rochester, Columbus, etc. and more than likely they're just further causing problems for black people, white people, hispanic people and asian people in the process.

I might be a whole lot more racist than most of the people around me [and this shit hasn't helped at all] but I'll still always recognize and respect the black people that go above and beyond and dedicate themselves to accomplishing something. These people aren't helping black people in general, they're encouraging and protecting the worst examples while the best examples suffer from this nonsense like everyone else, maybe even more since this bullshit is happening in their neighborhoods. People like David Dorn, his life apparently didn't matter to them, but career criminals like Floyd, Arbery and Brooks do. It's misguided at best and openly malignant at worst.

How many punks does it take to change a lightbulb?

None. Punk never changed anything.
