I always wonder how anyone can have issues with law & order sheriffs like the one down in Polk County, Florida. It’s like people think you can’t have good policing and also not brutalize people. Like who would get mad at this?

If his death really was a suicide then I would imagine the taking of a life weighed heavily on him. From what we know of him he was a nice guy, decent person. Even though it was self-defence, taking a life is something that would affect most people a lot. Combine that with being hounded by mobs online and off; I could well believe that suddenly having someone new come in and threaten to put him in prison for the next decade of his life, when he's already had to clear his name twice, could be too much.
There should still be a possible murder investigation though, just in case.
EDIT: One of the replies to the tweet says that GoFundMe blocked people from donating to support his legal costs. So he lost his bar, was forced from his home by death threats and harassment of his family, huge legal costs. This is murder even if nobody laid a hand on him.

Actual arms and legs (or what looked like arms and legs) ready to be cooked, medium or rare or to sir's liking.
Prostitution is rife. Gangs and warlords are still the real rulers. And even if it's getting better there as some mentioned in this thread, they are only one incident away from reverting back to the savagery from whence they came.
Every nightmare scenario you can think of is there in recent Liberian history. Rape is a major thing for them, also mutiliation. And we are talking child soldiers who carry it out. It makes Apocalypse Now look like a fucking picnic party. Even Nigerians are saying prayers and feeling blessed for not being born in Liberia. It is the very epitome of a failed state. That's something that's often not talked about: whether justified or not, taking a life is not something a person can do without mental cost, unless they are already have a psych issue to begin with. Someone could be charging at you with a knife and you shoot; you still have to live with having taken a life.
It's arguably not better when the media and a Twitter lynch mob is coming after you. But I wouldn't rule out foul play.
you have to follow the convoluted logic that it's racist to arrest people for looting because more blacks get arrested than whites because there's more blacks involved in looting, but there's a disproportionately high percentage of them relative to the number of blacks in the area, therefore more white people should be getting arrested or else you have to set all the black people free.
