I think it's a way to try to sell normies on the protests. If people complain about the protests, the protestors can simply ask, "What's wrong with a neighborhood dance/block party?" in an attempt to make themselves look better. One hopes enough normies are based enough to see through this facade.

Whomever first quoted the sob story was spot on. When someone suggests that someone whose mismanaged money needs to better prioritize expenses, white knights quickly dismiss that because "You don't know their life story." Maybe not, but making sure one has adequate shelter should still be a top priority regardless. Similarly, the people who go on social media to broadcast their fetishes to the world (such as those diaperfags shown earlier in the thread to be publicly posting about "fudgie huggies") can and do dismiss criticism of their gross behavior as kink-shaming even though it wasn't that long ago where people could rightfully tell degenerates to keep their private life private without being screeched at.
TL;DR - Any sort of constructive criticism or questioning of facts is now considered some form of shaming in order to avoid personal responsibility.
That part frustrates me, too. Many of us were probably raised with lessons on the importance of working hard, supporting one's self, and being responsible for one's actions and any consequences. These people turn that all topsy tervy and do nothing for themselves -- and they get rewarded for their bad behavior and grifting because they know the right words to say and string together to get people to shower them with money.
NGL: The possibly-blackened windows made me wonder what they all intend to keep hidden in this van. At the same time, I couldn't help wondering how soon before it meets the same fate of the original SnackVan in having tiered slashed more than prices at a discount store.
As for SnackVan Guy being #MeToo'ed, I have no idea how true any of the accusations may be. As someone else said, looking at someone the wrong way is now considered sexual assault if it's done by someone one hates. However, it wouldn't surprise me if he misbehaved or said/did some inappropriate things while he was high or on the road away from home.
Regardless, it's yet another example of how fickle the extreme left is and how they will turn on allies the second they even think said allies did something objectionable -- even if it turns out they never did.
Didn't one of the Rib Vans/food trucks try to rebrand itself after attracting too much bad attention? This certainly seems to be a common MO for this group.
