One thing you need to understand about commies: they know full well how shit their ideology is, and they understand full well no one actually likes being fed that shit, so they also by extension understand their only option is to ban any alternative whatsoever, otherwise their shit falls apart. Commies love to squeal about how "if fascism is allowed to speak then fascism rises." This is because compared to communism, literally anything is better, and they can't have that.

If Nazi Germany proved any one thing, it is that given the choice between Communism and fucking anything, people choose whatever is not Communism. While only a dumb society fucks things up badly enough that fascism ends up literally the only choice, even if that happens, people will choose fascism over it.

Not really, the NSDAP was specifically tailored to appeal to communist supporters while still maintaining a level of conservative support. If anything it just proves that when a society is completely and utterly collapsing into chaos and anarchy the people aren't going to choose any ideology without a big red 'revolutionary' slapped in front of it, and when even the core of a nation's revolutionary communist supporters are so pampered and well-off that their main problems in life revolve around tranny drama and arguing about which millionaire white mainstream liberal senator is better on a gay dead paywalled internet forum, communism is so laughably irrelevant it may as well be a meme.
