Alot of people treat the American Hispanic population like the black population. The problem with this is theres many different "kinds" of Hispanics. They greatly vary in national origin as well as religiousness to name just a few. So where most blacks in America have similar mindsets, there really is no archetypal hispanic. It's very easy to appeal to the black population as a whole, but it's much harder to do this with hispanics.

Let’s not forget that much like the Asian‘s the various Hispanic groupings often don’t like each other very much.Stuff like national feuds, or enslavement, Rape and genocide Between groups that American Leftists pay little attention to. Every group has their own mutually exclusive interests. Regardless of language.

One of the more interesting things is after a century, you are finally starting to see some fragmentation and dividing interests in the American Black population. 2nd Generation Middle Class Suburban Southern Blacks no longer have quite the same world view as Rust Belt Urban Inner City blacks.

But the Republicans know that they suck at political theater / tug-of-war, and that the Democrats (with their massive propaganda arm, the mainstream media) excel at it.
The hearings would have turned into a battle of attrition, with highly organized media campaigns targeting individual (politically vulnerable) Republican Senators to bully them into caving and voting for Garland to "get it over with" and "not make it worse for themselves".
Mitch basically saved them from having to go through this, and drew the hate onto himself.

Of course, going by the rules, not voting at all is a perfectly legitimate way for the Senate to not consent.
The Democrat's claims that the 2016 Senate was somehow obligated to indulge them and give them the political theater they wanted, has no constitutional basis.

Nor does than the Democrat's current demand that both the 2020 Senate and 2020 President must voluntarily forfeit their constitutional power and give it to them, instead.

It helps that Trump is an ex-Democrat running the show and an asshole as well.

Having former democrats run the GOP is a big boost as the current bunch of cuckservatives would fold on everything.

I think what he means is that its impressive that they make this saint out of George Flyod when anyone that bothers to learn more about him knows he was, at best, a horrible person. He pointed a gun to a pregnant lady's belly while he robbed her (that alone destroys any sympathy the piece of shit could have with me) and he OD'ed himself while trying to hide the drugs from the police (thus leading to his irrational behavior but he already had history of being problematic during arrests).

Its a mixture of people not knowing (they are idiots) and not caring (they are evil and using him).

It could possibly galvanize previously apathetic and generally blackpilled progressives to come out and hold their noses for Biden to stop Drumpf from getting even more judges nominated in the vague hope that the shadow government pulling Biden's strings will start court packing. This is starting to seem like a cope more and more but if enough RINOs backstab Trump and Cocaine Mitch it remains a viable one.

EDIT: Also maybe flip fencesitters and RINOs on muh hypocrisy but since the GOP isn't shy about reminding everyone about the Dems desperately trying to get someone on Scalia's seat in 2016 and failing not out of principle, but simply because they didn't have the votes, hopefully said voters will realize no one can really claim the moral high ground here and not really care in the end.

I can SEE where you are coming from but, for me anyway, it seems all VERY unlikely and a case of "too little too late". If she kicked the bucket one or two months ago, maybe I could see something like that having a bigger chance.
But who knows, we should keep our eyes open. FOR NOW this is beneficial to us but we cant keep our guard down until the results are out
