So the cop got indicted because he sent the other officers into the building, other two officer's returning fire was ruled justified.

Here's some other fun facts of the case, Officer Tony James and Myles Cosgrove were both photographed immediately after the shooting wearing body cameras but the police department claims no body camera footage exists.

And on their incident report they wrote "No" under the field if force was used and "None" for Beonna Taylors injuries.

Never mind they decided they needed to conduct a middle of the night raid on a house where they knew their suspect wasn't at and ultimately turned up nothing.

It reminds me of that case in Texas a few years back where they decided to no knock raid Ray Rosas house looking for his dime bag dealing nephew who wasn't even at the house. The home owner who had a squeaky clean record and previously testified against a gang shot and downed three of the SWAT team members.

A jury found him not guilty on all charges, didn't think the the cops were creditable, and questions why one of the officers who accidentally shot another officer wasn't changed with the same crime.
