I think it’s hilarious how pro-BLM/Antifa streamers and media people act like their life is at risk, when it’s people like Elijah Schaffer who are really in danger for reporting the truth. It’s really “the Chad Elijah Schaffer” vs “the virgin Matthew Ballard.” Ballard has the look of “my wife’s boyfriend got me a Nintendo switch so I can play with that while that black bull rails her.”

Depends on what your definition of expensive is, but I'd actually guess that's a fairly cheap AR-10. Bare stainless bull barrel uppers didn't used to be super expensive though the actual barrel quality might not be that great. If it has quad rails (I'd need a clearer picture) that could indicate an older rifle (most things are keymod or MLOK now) but there were plenty of inexpensive quad-rails a few years ago and not all of them were shit.

Optics are hard to assess the quality of from grainy footage, that scope could be between $150 and $4000, I'd guess less rather than more though.

You're definitely right about "biggest gun". If I had to guess she bought it thinking "IMMA SNIPUR" without realizing that what she actually bought was a heavy battle rifle with a barrel that wears out way more quickly than a chrome-lined would.

Edit: Oh, and the pistol grip is probably a $30 copy. though HK did make one for around $150 shipped.

The Gujurati merchant caste types who go overseas to operate minimarts and motels with 'sharp' business practices are not exactly low-caste. Lower caste than the Brahmin and similar high-caste IIT grads they send overseas who are actually somewhat competent in computer science (and who discriminate against lower-caste Indians as well as non-Indians), but if you think they're caste-blind and just want to live in MLK'S AMMURRICA you're dreaming.

I see this sentiment posted quite a bit but I disagree with it. I don't believe that your average white BLM or Antifa type (or far leftist who aligns with them) are white supremacists nor do they think that whites are better than anyone. Rather, they're true believers regarding this idea that there's this big ever encompassing plot that's trying to keep whites on top. They genuinely believe that there's a massive portion, possibly the majority, of the white populace that is really racist (not like "they may drop an n-bomb once every five years when a running back fumbles" but more like they see a black guy get shot by the cops are throw a party" kind of racist). They really believe that black men are being being slaughtered by the cops all over for the crime of being black whereas white people just skate through life.

Now of course if you ask these people if they're part of this terrible white group, they'll say that they're not. They're not racist. They don't associate with racists. But believe them, they just know that they're everywhere, behind every corner... waiting, just waiting to blow off your head if you're brown. These people are narcissists, desperate for validation. I think they actually see non-whites, blacks in particular, as their betters. They want their approval, they want to emulate them and be "down" with them because anything is better than being associated with this terrible whiteness that they were born with. They don't believe in white supremacy in the sense that they think they're better than anyone, they believe more in some sort of white evil where people like them, but not them, are out to get you (if you're brown, black especially).

Taylor was the case that garnered the most sympathy and was seen generally as the most unassailable. If it turns out that she wasn't entirely innocent, or indeed that the entire premise of the outrage was just as fabricated as it has been for every other apparent martyr raised up this year, then that's the narrative creaking and crumbling in a way that's hard to ignore. So how do you distract from that? Lots and lots and lots of copycats. I have to imagine most major metros are concerned about copycats at the moment.
