A high school friend of mine lives in suburban Richmond, VA. For the past two years, she has been word vomiting anti-American, woke trash constantly. It's been so bad to the point where she expressed being conflicted about the U.S. Women's Soccer Team winning last year because she didn't know whether she should be happy for women, or angry about an American team winning. I shit you not.
Word just got around to me that she is apparently freaking out on Facebook tonight because "protesters of peace" are trying to get into residential areas in Richmond right now.
I wish no harm on her (in fact, I pray that she stays safe). Throughout the years, she's actually been there for me during really rough patches in my life, and I just can't throw those memories away in the name of politics. Underneath all of the woke bullshit and the virtue-signaling, there is a good person there. However, I really, really hope that this opens her eyes to what "intersectionality" and "anti-American" rhetoric ultimately leads to.
