U.S. Riots of May 2020 over George Floyd and others - ITT: a bunch of faggots butthurt about worthless internet stickers

Couldn’t legally be defamation. Congress being Congress has specifically made themselves exempt from defamation or libel by law. Nicholas Sandman tried to sue Elizabeth Warren for calling him a white supremacist or something and she got the case thrown out in federal court because Congress had passed a law protecting themselves.

Yeah members of legislature in most Western countries can say just about whatever the fuck they want as long as they're participating in official legislature business that is going on. A privilege of the legislature to guarantee full and free debate without fear of the King getting butthurt over what was said and doing something about it. This does not extend to talking shit about other members, the rules say you can shit on anyone any way you want except your fellow corrupt assholes, you have to be kind of polite to them lol

And you only have to hit the jackpot once, which is what happened here. These orgs have been around for years since the Jamar Clark incident (another jogger who dindu nuffin...except attack EMT’s while they attempted to assist a woman he beat) but Fenty Floyd was the cash cow that brought them their millions.

Perhaps this has more to do with why joggers have no generational wealth rather than muh systemic racisms. 🤔
See Fentanyl George being buried in a gold coffin rather than RESPs for his apelets.

I know this has completely inverted my perspective on "protest movements" in the 60s and 70s.

Edit: Regg reporting "we trapped", will we finally see a real-ass kettle executed?

Edit again: LMPD are streaming again.
It's a brilliant trap. When they compare themselves to the old protest movements, they're correct. So to honestly rebut them you must condemn what everyone under the age of 50 has been taught to love in grade school.

Edit: It's almost a motte and bailey. In their propaganda they're just like the idealized versions of these movements, and when examined they're like the real version of these movements. Either way they're right, and it's hard for the unfamiliar to tell the difference. Kind of like in a timeline where holocaust didn't happen and nobody believed it did, and Neo-Nazis were able to associate themselves with the Good Hitler Years.

I work in one of the badder 'hoods of NJ and rioting and violence are always in the back of my mind during things like this. Thankfully the people in the neighborhood (and city basically) are so lethargic about social justice that they're content to shoot one another and chill on stoops drinking 40's. I still fear the day might come when I'm pulled out of my car and have a brick thrown at my head.

I remember learning about the Kent State shooting when I was a kid discovering Neil Young music for the first time, and being 100/0% in favor of the students to the National Guard, and then once Occupy rolled around being like 60/40, then 2016 being 40/60, and now today 0/100.

The opening song for Pete and Pete is also about Kent State

I have some mead I haven't brought out in awhile. It's not the good stuff, but I don't know if tonight will necessitate anything better.

Night has about fallen in Louisville.

It's funny, normally 'bad news' gets dropped on a Friday afternoon but I guess they decided to do this in the middle of the week because the weekends have been the worst for rioting.

At least this hopefully means they can spin up the NG by Saturday if they need to.
What does this guy's connection- was he one of the peaceful protestors? Or is it just that he's a homicide victim in Portland?

Yeah.. I've noticed this strategy employed for a lot of topics and fields. Idk maybe the rest of the world are dumb, but when I encounter something like that it makes me reverse my opinion on the thing I was taught vs the thing I'm experiencing myself. Not really sure how that's not the default position of anyone who experiences a contridiction themselves.

Ex. A few years ago the whole gay push in the media got really annoying. Like, fuck who you want, that's between you and God, but pushing it constantly is annoying. Someone brought up this is what black people did as if that was supposed to excuse it. All it did was make me empathize with white people in the past and now who must have been and are annoyed with the push for black people in everything too.

Earlier today I watched Dead End, 1937 film with Humphrey Bogart.
It had street kids doing what street kids do, a few former street kids that grew up, and a scene straight out of 2020, where some of the kids are reading a newspaper about a thing that happened on their block but the article is complete bullshit and they realize it. (Also if you watch this movie please forgive Marjorie Main's performance. She's just not great unless she plays someone plucky and/or crabby.)

Some Portland faggot. Killed by his BF. Looks like a protestor. And nothing of value was lost.
You know nothing about the guy and have no evidence to show he's connected to the riots, antifa, or BLM in anyway. Yet you condemn the guy simply for being from portland? Maybe he will turn out to have been some dipshit protester, but you're making massive assumptions.

This is one of the dumbest posts I've seen in this thread.
