Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

A "Literal Nazi" backing Trump is not unexpected as far as the media narrative goes. But one going for Biden, even using the flimsiest excuses, makes them squirm and try really hard to ignore it. Well, what can you do? Biden is at his best when no one sees him at all and he's just generic Democrat President Man and you can't very well have Camela pick up the slack because she has the same problem in a different way.

I like to keep an eye on the people in the stands behind Trump at his rallies to see how they respond to his different points. It's interesting what gets good responses and what doesn't—sometimes it's the smallest things. I also like to watch specifically the black people behind him, to see how his points resonate/don't resonate with them (I know, I know, this isn't scientific at all). The black guys I was watching specifically in FL tonight responded well specifically to when Trump called the deep state (my words, Trump was talking about Stzrok and Page) scum. I think that's the difference between him and the manicured candidacies from the democrats. Whereas they use pr-tested lines written by committee, Trump just uses insults that people can agree with deep down. The media freaks out over this, but, yeah, most people in America think DC insiders are scum. Shocking, I know.

My friend in the Citadel told me there's a sea of Biden banners and omnitools. Its really concerning. Its like a Paragon wave.

Every time you walk into a store, you hear, "I'm Jill Biden, and th- I'm Joe Biden, c'mon man! Enthusiastically. I'm Joe Biden, and this is my favorite store on the Citadel. End line."

I know it’s forever ago but don’t forget there’s a University sitting on a whole pile of Biden documents from throughout his career - including ones that could validate Tara Reid’s assault accusations. They aren’t releasing them until Biden ‘retires’ from public life.

Bear in mind the press are still screeching about Trump’s tax returns yet these potential bombs have been mothballed and absolutely forgotten about. Along with Tara herself.

By the way, does anybody know what happens if Biden were to croak before the election? From my understanding the time limit to be added to the ballot is over in pretty much every state so no new candidates can step forward. Would Biden be replaced by Kamala and she'd pick a new vp, or would it just be Trump vs 3rd party candidates?

HK-level political observers (Styx said it too) pointed this out on Election Night: Even if you concede Trump is a Nazi, his biggest "Nazi" supporters would abandon him after the first year in office because they actually believed he'd start the death camps, and expel anyone darker than a sheet of photocopy paper, and make Islam illegal, etc. etc. etc. They'd be disappointed in his lack of actual Nazi policy.

And when he didn't, as in didn't even TRY, and when the first anti-Trump congress blocked his wall plan and he resorted to litigation and pushing funding through loopholes instead of just having congress shot, they did, indeed, do just that , abandoned him for not living up to the standard they had in their own minds that he'd be the kind of President they've been trying to elect since David Duke. An actual white supremacist dictator. And he isn't, this makes the actual neo-nazi whyte boyz (tm) MAD, they feel cheated.

Those people who called it right also predicted that the dems would get behind these people, the same ones they demonized as turning the nation into a 4th Reich, at election time as "proof" of Trump failing. And they did. They've been running ads since Biden was the man about how "Here's an average Trump voter, and he's/she's NOT voting for him this time! Neither should you!" (but dodging exactly WHY they changed their mind, just a quick blurb of them on the couch/porch saying "Trump has failed me" or "He isn't the guy I thought he was", because letting them explain it would lead them to saying "He didn't gas the Jews and shoot the darkies like I thought he would".

Trump is speaking in public every single day. Biden has not spoken in public this entire campaign, and years before that.

Public speaking is something you can get rusty at even without cognitive decline; so Biden is at an even greater disadvantage.

I honestly never thought I'd see in my lifetime a presidential campaign where a candidate wouldn't speak to the public OR the press. It's amazing that THE PRESS is so fixed on their narrative of protecting Biden at all costs that they are fine with both him and Kamala refusing to answer their questions throughout an entirety of their campaign. Meanwhile Trump takes them all on and doesn't give a fuck that they all hate him.

From my understanding if a nominee dies before the election, the party meets and votes on a candidate. They can nominate any person as a replacement, though I would imagine Kamala would be the choice (sorry Bernie Bros, no refunds).

So today, if something happened to Trump, Mike Pence is the new President and Nancy Pelosi becomes the Vice President. I THINK.

I know in theory the Speaker is 3rd in line, but don't know how it works in practice.

The speaker is 3rd in line, but they don't get moved up, they just are in charge of both the prez and vp are incapacitated. Otherwise the speaker would have to meet the requirements for president, like the vp does.
