I can't wait until you can't wear a normal mask, you have to wear a SUPERMASK which has an RFID chip in it to make sure you wear it at all times because the supermask is "safer" and allows "contact tracing".
But what's the symbol/totem you are required to wear to show you're complying with the climate lockdown? Some sort of microchip to make sure you aren't eating red meat?
Around here, schools are apparently asking family members that wish to attend their kid's athletic events to check in by scanning some sort of QR code with their smart phone or to alternatively sign a log if they don't have a smart phone -- presumably for the contract tracing requirements spelled out by local county-level health departments. Given that some QR scanners seem to have spyware or won't work without tying it into one's Google account (to spy on you that way), I wonder how many people would rather manually sign in.
This nonsense is breaking down what little sanity some people have left. I've also heard/seen so many people claim they won't eat at a restaurant, attend a movie theater or concert, or even like, see friends until there's a vaccine. And even then, they may never do those things again anyway.
Take away people's red meat and cars, and you'll have a goddamn uprising on your hands.
This is actually a huge boon to people trying to make an argument against masks. The telegraph has basically admitted here that masks dont keep out the virus, They only reduce the dose. Even better it says that the less starting dose you get, the less severe the case. Now for the sake of the argument let us assume this is true. Then why should I have to worry about getting the virus from asymptomatic people? The dose is obviously smaller than someone who has symptoms.
Even though the chances of dying from the virus are very slim its hard to not feel guilty about potentially causing a butterfly effect that kills someone the same way someone might feel guilty about not donating to a charity to feed starving people. What I ment in my post was that while a very small number of people might die from the virus, more peoples lives have been ruined by the government destroying the normal flow of society. I think it would be much better for the government to take the money they spent on giving free shit to corporations and spend it on educating fat fucks to work out.
1 mask is good. 2 is better. I wear 3 just to be safe. Hopefully this new supermask will be even better.
Or, we could just ignore this shit, see it for what it is, and carry in as normal where we can.
I can confirm from both first and third-hand experience that they do not realize this nor do they care when it's pointed out. There are a lot of jokes about silicon valley types and tech-bros being out of touch with the rest of the country/the planet, but I can tell you for an absolute certainty that those shouldn't be considered jokes. The level of dismissive behavior and lack of concern for anyone outside their bubble is mind-boggling. Some of them are actively spiteful towards people they see as being outside the tech tribe, despite their claims of wokeness.
I think the main difference between red state and blue state is population density. Big blue city have high population density compared to small village in a sparsely populated red state
