Like I said, the average LGB might find his stuff distasteful to read because his fetishes are pretty rare.

But, they also wouldn't see anything wrong with his depravity (it's just not their cup of tea), and would agree it should be allowed in society and people who kinkshame or attempt to restrict sexual expression are the bigger problem. Most gays aren't into public ballsack inflation either but few will oppose exhibitionist events like the Folsom Street fair.

Narcissism, sex obsession, and general weirdness are also very common among LGBT. Valens' bundle of personality defects is pretty typical.

The mad thing is, these people who call people "whorephobic" are all for deregulation of the very pimps and johns who rape and murder prostitutes. They call feminists whorephobic for, y'know, not wanting them to get killed. Usually accompanied by "SWERF", because they include the tiny minority of the absolute richest and happiest (and fictional - see the #NotYourRescueProject drama, that turned out to be a pimp posing as his prostitute on Twitter who is AFAIK still missing) sex workers, and exclude the huge underclass majority of underage, trafficked or destitute people who don't want to be in the industry. For all they go on about intersectionality and caring about the most vulnerable, they sure change their minds when it gets in the way of cooming.

Identifying as a woman is a lot more reasonable than identifying as a planet or an elemental deity.

What's funny is that early on Tumblr (around 2011-2012), otherkin tried (and failed) to latch onto the LGBT community and were viciously rejected, with a lot of trans people saying that they were making them look like a joke. The backlash got so harsh that otherkin had to switch tactics and latched onto the disability community, excusing their kinning as "coping" and anybody who invalidated their delusions was ableist.

This lasted longer but eventually puttered out as once again, people were getting sick of otherkin's bullshit, because they inevitably start drama wherever they go. Eventually, the Tumblr otherkin culture peaked around 2014-2015, and less and less dumb teenagers identified as non-human. They've had no choice but to go back to the furry community where they'd been for many years before Tumblr, metaphorical tails between their legs, where I guess they've started getting their confidence back.

So of course Ana is going to try and give them a leg up, being a divisive weirdo that is only sustained by outrage clicks and people falling over themselves to appear more enlightened than us filthy, unwoke masses.

I think she's also presuming we're climbing towards some post-human spiritual utopia fuckfest as some sort of ultimate goal as opposed to stiffling hetero norm of the past. Presumptive, simplistic and relentlessly naive, if what Ana wanted comes to pass we'd probably create an age of nightmares beyond imagine. Imagine how fucked up we're going to be as species if we proactively encourage people to think they're inhuman and that's before we consider cosmetic surgery.....

Tbh, I'd rather live in an utopia where lgbt got beaten back into the closet and forced to stay there than the hedonistic hellhole her ilk wants.

I don't think either really exists or can really exist. If anything Ana's belief in both shows how indequate her world views are.You may as well suggest a world were people eat nothing but cheese and argue that a world were we eat nothing but eggs is the counterpoint.

Not by much.

Sure, the ridiculousness of the whole "identifying as" fad is a spectrum, so identifying as another race makes infinitely more sense than identifying as another sex, which in turn makes a bit more sense than identifying as another species, and so on.

But at the end of the day, what's "reasonable" doesn't matter whatsoever to these people. We're literally talking about the 2+2=5 crowd. I wouldn't be surprised if 10 years from now we have to go through the exact same bullshit we are now with mainstream media, corporations, and politics bending the knee to these cretins with all dissent squashed as "kinphobic." Once the whole trans thing is played out, these narcissists will need a new gimmick to feel special.

I've lowered my expectations so far that I wouldn't raise an eyebrow anymore if in a few months we see the first crop of "My 2 year old walks on all fours, like a fox. That's when I knew he was trans otherkin." Or "I knew I wasn't normal. I thought I was trans. But turns out it was internalized kinphobia that kept me from discovering my true self."

tl;dr: Ana is ahead of our times.
