I also thought most AniTwitter weebs hate English dubbed anime, but I dunno anymore. The Twitter bird has been pecking my brain too much.

How would an average AniTwitter weeb react to seeing the real actress of Gawr Gura or some other HoloLiveEN V-Tuber looking like a fat pink-haired dyed girl and on her personal Twitter has BLM and ACAB in her handle? They'd throw a massive shitfest I bet.

I think only two of them are from the west but i doubt they are americans, Cover went safe and picked mostly Koreans-Japanese bilinguals because getting a American was probably considered a ticking time bomb

The problem with Venti is not her points about Vtubers, the problem with her is the timing, she waited like 2 days to latch on Hololive English when there were more easy targets available, Hololive english were not the first bilinguals or english speaking loli looking vtubers on the scene, if she "cared" so much about the pedos then why wait until the most populars ones were released instead she rage made a video about 1 that was popular and called all her fan pedophiles, even forgetting that there were 4 more and 1 of them doesn't look any better than the shark

Looks is part of the casting process, some on them already had their face out there but they look average at best so they go "meh" and leave it at that, is like it happen in the anime industry, everyone know who is who, but people latch to the character not the voice actor

i liked her because of her streams but this type of repetitive content becomes old fast for me at least

Pedophilia is rampant in the anime fandom and also it's industry. Just look at the people who create it. There are many japanese animators/manga artists that get caught with cp or soliciting a minor and barely any anime fan talks about it.

Aside from the creator of Rouroni Kenshin getting caught with his hands on CP 3 years ago and the writer of Act Age assaulting a middle schooler on his bike last month or so and getting arrested, i never heard any other similar reported case involving mangakas or industry insiders. Maybe you could link to some to some article or name or name a few more others? I'm legitimately curious.

Keep in mind that she's had pathetic viewcounts for awhile - she hasn't had a video reach 100K views since her Pokimane upload in May.

That wouldn't surprise me. This goes beyond any mere "cultural difference," especially when prepubescent girls (and boys) are fetishized. What is especially disturbing is the "Femboy" trend that's making the rounds on Twitter, Reddit, and elsewhere. You can't tell me that there are absolutely no pedophilic connotations with feminizing boys, especially in light of pederasty in history. I'm not going to say all anime is trash, but Sturgeon's Law definitely applies here, and the Otaku community has a difficult time telling the difference at times.

Catholic "Trads" are notorious for this. There are plenty of Protestant weabs out there, but you don't really see them in the same large numbers as TradCats.
