These rallies usually get spicy right after they end, when Antifa try to huntdown people going back to their cars. Also Local PD was deputized as Federal Marshals this morning, just like State Troopers were. There is a "Unified Command" between US Marshals, State, County, and City police that is promising to be highly active today. So far they have not moved into shutdown the Proudboy rally, which is a good sign they are aren't trying to Charlottesville the event.

The "angels on the head of a pin" stuff was a popular misunderstanding of a philosophical question about whether two non-material objects can occupy the same material space, argued as a form of entertainment by students and professors with time to kill during the night/winter. Agreed on the rest.

There's a small but very loud group of people walking down streets in Austin TX chanting black power on megaphones. I thought this exchange was hilarious. Some lady starts filming them in confusion and thinks it's a tv stunt and they call her a dumb bitch. But I'd like to think they were secretly embarrassed inside for not being taken seriously.

Where exactly? I'm sure the proud boys have guns. But we clearly have video of Antifa with shields. IF they furnish video of proud boys with shields then I'll change my mind, but. Stating something makes it a fact right?

Edit: also there are plenty of kids at the rally, very clear to see. I don't mind seeing a bunch of adults getting into yelling matches or slapfights, but they better leave the children out of it. Maybe you could say "why bring kids here" but as as I'm concerned a rally=/=riots. Though the prior warnings and threats leading up to this make me conflicted about that.

That's actually a pretty good shield design for the fights Antifa gets into with the Proud Boys. I'm guessing the left edge (towards the held handle) is going to be beveled so it can deliver a nasty thrusting hit.
