A transgender girl accused of assaulting two students at a Texas high school alleges that she was being bullied and was merely fighting back

Shocking video shows a student identified by police as Travez Perry violently punching, kicking and stomping on a girl in the hallway of Tomball High School.

The female student was transported to the hospital along with a male student, whom Perry allegedly kicked in the face and knocked unconscious.

According to the police report, Perry - who goes by 'Millie' - told officers that the victim has been bullying her and had posted a photo of her on social media with a negative comment.

One Tomball High School parent whose daughter knows Perry said that the 18-year-old had been the target of a death threat.

'From what my daughter has said that the girl that was the bully had posted a picture of Millie saying people like this should die,' the mother, who asked not to be identified by name, told DailyMail.com.

When Perry appeared in court on assault charges, her attorney told a judge that the teen has been undergoing a difficult transition from male to female and that: 'There's more to this story than meets the eye.'

Perry is currently out on bond, according to authorities.

The video of the altercation sparked a widespread debate on social media as some claim Perry was justified in standing up to her alleged bullies and others condemn her use of violence.

The mother who spoke with DailyMail.com has been one of Millie's most ardent defenders on Facebook.

'I do not condone violence at all. But situations like this show that people now a days, not just kids, think they can post what they want. Or say what they want without thinking of who they are hurting,' she said.

'Nobody knows what Millie has gone through, and this could have just been a final straw for her. That is all speculation of course because I don't personally know her or her family, but as a parent and someone who is part of the LGBTQ community this girl needs help and support, not grown men online talking about her private parts and shaming and mocking her.'

One Facebook commenter summed up the views of many, writing: 'This was brutal, and severe! I was bullied for years and never attacked anyone!'

Multiple commenters rejected the gender transition defense and classified the attack as a male senselessly beating a female.

One woman wrote on Facebook: 'This person will get off because they're transitioning. This is an animal. She kicked, and stomped, and beat...not okay. Bullying is not acceptable, but kicking someone in the head. Punishment doesn't fit the crime.'

This kid has been in detention for years, yet he’s all over the Internet. Why in the world are they allowing psychopathic children to live on the internet? It induces psychopathy in even normie kids, wtf. And he’s clearly not even being monitored considering the porn influence.

Though lmao if that’s really his Pinterest he is clearly taking the piss. So much pastel cursive inspiration...not a bad impression of a teenage female tbqh. He’d be kind of funny for running this obvious con that he knows no one in authority can even argue with if he wasn’t you know, incredibly violent and absolutely going to rape and murder as many women as he can manage to be alone with, starting with his mom.

Putting together mood/interest boards is a really common approach for child psych professionals. Wouldn’t be surprised if he was encouraged to make it (and the teen girl/self help combo is all part of his delusion).

I notice he got rejected for a gender dysphoria diagnosis by GIDS @ Tavistock (report describes him as having a ‘siege mentality’) so at least that’s something.

Shame Ireland’s self ID law means you don’t need a medical diagnosis to change legal sex. :story:

this person is absolutely going to kill someone, likely a woman tasked with taking care of him (doctor, psych, nurse, warden, therapist, cook, cleaner etc)

He needs long term secure psychiatric intervention. It’s not his fault, he had no hope of growing up normal (personality disorders are largely the result of very early childhood neglect and/or abuse) and he has no idea how to relate to people in a healthy way because he was never taught how to...

...but sympathy is irrelevant and won’t help. He needs to be kept away from the public. He is going to peak trans all of Ireland though, so there is that.

Gov. Gavin Newsom signed a law on Saturday requiring California to house transgender inmates in prisons based on their gender identity — but only if the state does not have "management or security concerns."

The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation houses men and women in separate facilities. Transgender inmates are often housed based on their sex assigned at birth. Advocates say this is dangerous, particularly for transgender women housed in facilities for men.

The law Newsom signed Saturday says officers must ask inmates privately during the intake process if they identify as transgender, nonbinary or intersex. Those inmates can then request to be placed in a facility that houses either men or women.

The law says the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation cannot deny those requests solely because of inmates' anatomy, sexual orientation or "a factor present" among other inmates at the facility.


But the state can deny those requests if it has "management or security concerns." If a request is denied, the state must give the inmate a written statement explaining the decision and give the inmate a "meaningful opportunity" to object.

Sen. Scott Wiener, a Democrat from San Francisco who authored the bill, said he doesn't expect that exception to be used very often.

"It's just a false narrative about transgender people and about transgender women in particular that they're somehow not really women and are just trying to scam their way into women's bathrooms or facilities in order to do bad things," Wiener said.

"Overwhelmingly the people who are being victimized are trans people."

At any time, if inmates raises concerns about their health or safety, the law says the state must reassess where they are housed.

"It means a lot to me and my sisters," said Michelle Calvin, a transgender woman incarcerated at Mule Creek State Prison who recently called in to a news conference about the bill. "I've been in for 15 years. I've been through the abuse, I've been through the disrespect of staff not addressing me for who I am because I am a woman."

Connecticut passed a similar law in 2018. Rhode Island, New York City and Massachusetts have also housed inmates based on their gender identity.

The law also requires officers to address transgender inmates based on the pronouns of their choice. And it requires officers to search inmates based on the search policy of their gender identity.

The law was one of several LGBT-related laws Newsom signed on Saturday. He signed another law authored by Wiener requiring local public health officers to better track how diseases are affecting the LGBT community. He signed a law authored by state Sen. Lena Gonzalez to ban life and disability insurance companies from denying coverage solely because someone is HIV positive.

And Newsom signed a law authored by Assemblyman Miguel Santiago that sets up a Transgender Wellness and Equity Fund to provide grants to organizations that support the transgender community.

California is truly a fine example of what happens if you let Democrats run the entire institutions of the government with impunity and no opposition.

If Republicans tell you Democrats will bring in third world into this country, let rioters rape your business with impunity, tax you to death, allow abortion after birth, believe it. It's true. It's all real.

Am I the only one surprised this isn't already a thing in Cali?

Seriously though, I could understand it if they had a subjective "dude looks like a lady" policy here. Like if Bailey Jay went to male prison, he'd be everyone's bitch. So it makes sense he'd go to female prison (though perhaps with extra supervision). Codifying this in law would be a pain in the ass though...
Maybe just not being a tranny and/or not breaking the law is better advice for now.
