I guess, I've only just started watching these. It's a nice change, being sort of cute/enertaining. That it makes the titty streamers seethe or try to jump onto the craze makes it all the more fun imo.

My policy on China is "hate the CCP, not the Chinese." It is a vile cancer that has strangled out the culture of the nation it grew in and has replaced it with party worship. However, that's far easier said than done when it comes to blows, since one can't strike the party without harming those it rules over. Also, a significant number of Chinese people do accept the rhetoric, since they're trained from birth to do so.
Actually, fuck it. You can't value Chinese lives any less than they do, anyway.

What makes it even better is that a lot of the vtubers could easily make the transition to titty streaming, the talent knows what other people in the company look like behind the cute anime avatar and some are known to be really attractive offline, or have big tits at least which is often enough to get the simps chucking money at them.

The current situation was confirmed by the parties involved, as well as Akai Haato and Kiryu Koko. As a result, we confirmed that both of them disclosed statistical data and secondary use of their YouTube channels, which are confidential information, and that they made some comments about the content of their YouTube channels that were not considerate of people living in certain areas.
At present, the company conducts and reinforces compliance training for its employees based on the company's internal guidelines for its own employees. The fact that the Company's actions were in violation of the Company's guidelines and the content of the contract, including the actions and words of the employees, is a fact, and the Company takes the position and influence of the employees as a matter of fact, and therefore, the Company strongly rejects the actions as being beyond its awareness and responsibility.
In light of this incident, we have decided to impose a three-week suspension of the Talent Management System for Akai Heart and Kiryu Co. due to violations of the Company's guidelines and contractual terms and conditions, and we will continue to provide thorough guidance to the employees.
We have taken the issues that have arisen in the midst of guideline training and development head-on, and we will continue to work diligently to provide guidance to our employees and prevent their reoccurrence in order to gain the trust of our fans and other stakeholders. We will do our best to prevent recurrence and provide guidance to fans and other interested parties.

None off the top of my head. Look at Pokimane and her trying to jump onto the bandwagon of vtubers and look at the shit that has started. We already know about the stuff she does as a streamer - less tits more ass shots. How is that going to work converting to an anime avatar? We already know what she looks like and how she acts when not hidden behind this anime avatar as well as what her fanbase is like. I don't see it doing well. IIRC, didn't she switch to that because of salt over how vtubers were earning more money/getting more views? Seems like the same issue that onlyfans and chaturbate had with Bella Thorne and Project Melody. Couldn't complete with something new/niche so then bitched and then tried to join it and instead shit all over it.

I went to watch a replay of the Coco's meme review stream, and all of the comments are "hurr durr we are winning against those antis" because of members-only chat.
If you have to mention them every time something happens, they are the ones living in your head rent-free, and judging by what Clover just did the antis are winning.

Just flicked through a Pokimane archived stream when she used the avatar. Might as well not bother having it up because she acts no differently. From the little I have seen of Vtubers, they are "acting" or playing up characteristics. A shark girl, a dog girl, a pirate girl. They lean into it and make it kinda fun, make some puns about being an "apex predator shark" or act a bit cute. With Pokimane or these bandwagoners, it's just slapping on a filter and acting no differently.
It also doesn't work in reverse. We don't know who these vtubers are really, and they like to keep it that way. They come in, play into the role, entertain people and then go on about their irl business. It could be a sweaty fat man behind the avatar for all we know, but he plays the avatar well. With the bandwagoners, we have seen them irl and how they behave. Having some filter or avatar doesn't do anything because we know what they are like streaming behind the avatar.

Ever since coco decide to use reddit, the level of notice me senpai had been off the chart.
To be fair, the character policy differs from company to company, also to various effects. Otogibara Era complained on a (privated) stream that it's tiring playing her character, and had gotten more popular by just being her own degenerate self despite deputed as a pure cinderella type.
Most of the one with the high school setting also talk about drinking like it's no big deal either.

I had imagined the lolsuit saga had broken him, but fucking hell, this... I have no words.
The funny thing is when even when they play up their characters and don't show their face, we still get more of a genuine bond. Korone is my go to example; she's not afraid to play up "the doggo" aspects, but even through the language barrier watching her stuff is just plain fun and the few personal snippets she shares (i.e. watching Green Inferno with her grandma and how her english tutor got her into Doom) makes it a bit more personal. You feel like you know the performer, not just the character she does.
Reddit does end up ruining everything. She should have joined Kiwi Farms instead...
Imagine the kind of shitshow if she does get "retired" over it. I'm sure there's a monkey paw around here someplace...
It's no secret that Coco has grown as an idol, despite her blatant un-idol-ish actions. Being one of the biggest earners, with a big fanbase... if she was to go solo... she also started the YAGOO meme iirc.
